[2:38] 17. And uh the the for the same exact area and the city has no thing in this

[2:48] this was a contractor did this is when all through the attorneys our city

[2:52] attorney said nope we don't need it. We just again hear not till maybe about

[2:57] four or five years ago we donated the detention pond that we were taking care

[3:02] of that was on private ground that we had to take care of. And you know they

[3:08] at that time the the city attorney told them you know there's this is not our

[3:12] thing. This you need to do with you know this is your homeowner's thing. This is

[3:16] what you all need to do that doesn't belong to the city. The thing I'm

[3:19] worried about is we're going to have another indoor estates problem. And I

[3:24] don't know if any of you all know about the waterway out there and behind Andor

[3:28] Estates. I'm sure Justin will tell you all about it. Take you out there and

[3:33] show it to you. You talking about something that's a mess to clean up and

[3:36] that was another one that the cities decided, hey, we'll just take it over

[3:41] and now we're paying for it because you all you all have no idea what what goes

[3:45] on out there. Christmas trees, everything. It's all handone. No

[3:49] machines need it. Got one way in. And that's now they put a fence up. There's

[3:54] a little 8 foot I don't even say 8 foot wide gate to get in. You got to step

[4:03] little more than a quarter mile, and try to clean it up. Everybody takes their

[4:07] dog feces, throws it in there, any kind of trash goes in there, cable TV goes

[4:15] here. And I don't know why we're revisiting, spending this kind of money

[4:19] when it's already been done. I'm sorry, but you know, it's not the city's thing

[4:28] what they're homeowners association for. They just need to take care of it. We

[4:33] did they, you know, there's a lot that gets done that you all don't know about

[5:57] about a uh program called mole able for families with uh special needs uh folks

[6:05] in their family. And I just wanted to say that uh I would encourage everybody

[6:11] if you haven't had an opportunity to stop in and visit Pathfinders. It was uh

[6:16] extraordinary today. And I would like to thank uh the president of Pathfinders,

[6:23] Kathleen [clears throat] Hart Hart Mills, uh for showing me around today.

[6:28] But it was a very uh enlightening couple hours. So I do appreciate the time.

[6:33] » How much they educate and do up there is amazing. It's it's a we're very

[6:38] fortunate here in the uh city of Warrington to have such a uh great

[6:42] facility for uh our special needs families.

[6:50] to go up and see that. But um they're very big on trying to help people um who

[6:56] have special needs be able to maybe live in assisted living or have somebody come

[7:01] in and check on them but have more independence in living which is huge.

[8:10] fact I found it more divisive for the board

[8:28] come together as a community instead of dividing the community further and and

[8:33] resolve our issues without an unfortunate posting on social media.

[10:02] know when you guys found out, but um, so we were talking and he also wanted to

[10:08] bring awareness to the Trump accounts. And if any of you don't know what those

[10:14] are, it's basically um, an IRA program for children. And

[10:21] within a particular year, um, little ones that were born within a

[10:28] year, which is passed, by the way, um, they received $1,000 into that fund. So,

[10:34] um, the thing I I talked to them about, it's confusing for a lot of young

[10:39] people, young families who they don't have fiduciaries. they, you

[10:45] know, they're not real keen on buying stocks and going through brokerage firms

[10:51] and things of that nature. So, basically,

[10:57] it's just an avenue for families to use that would generate um market pricing

[11:06] for their children instead of just putting money into like a regular

[11:09] savings account where it's extremely extremely low interest. So this gives

[11:15] them an opportunity to grow their money a lot by the time the kid's 18. So, um,

[11:24] but unfortunately it it's kind of difficult and that was a

[11:28] conversations that we had was I said, you know, again, a lot of families, they

[11:32] don't know where to go, you know, in order to do this. And I I said if I

[11:37] think it would be helpful if they could list on their website um different

[11:42] brokerage firms that are, you know, kind of doing this

[11:48] program a lot. I think you're fine. I think

[11:50] » can educate them on that. >> I don't [clears throat] think that would

[11:53] be legal doing that. So I just be careful of that.

[21:38] financials. So, a few highlights. Revenue is favorable overall. And uh in

[21:43] the month of July, we received um the community benefit payment for from

[21:47] Crusoe. So, uh, we're about 1.97 million. Um,

[21:53] and then in the building permit and plan review fees, we're up 1.2 million for

[21:58] the building permit from Cruso. Um, mainly driving that up. um

[22:03] [clears throat] franchise fees were 27,000 above projection um

[22:09] sorry from Amaran and in the water sewer revenues were 160,000 above projection

[22:14] and that's primarily due to timing and uh connection fees [snorts] in the

[22:19] expenses we are pretty much tracking close to budget but there's some

[22:24] variances and a lot of that is due to timing a few highlights being uh the

[22:28] water department 134,000 over budget due to the emergency pump repairs sewer

[22:34] department 58,000 and that's over several categories that are timing

[22:39] related. Uh same thing for street over 52,000

[22:44] um due to timing over across uh several categories. The executive department is

[22:49] 22,000 over budget due to attorney fees. And lastly, grounds and maintenance

[22:54] 18,000 over budget. However, that's offset by the street light repair um

[22:59] insurance reimbursement that was driving that expense up. You have any questions?

[23:18] monthly report for July. Couple highlights. We did have um

[23:23] replaced two of the uh drinking fountains at Binkley Woods and Dyer Park

[23:28] uh with the new replacements, drinking fountains with the water bottle bottle

[23:32] fillers and they also still have a regular drinking fountain. So, just kind

[23:36] of seen the kids have been happy to have those there at the park. Um we did have

[23:42] two dumpster enclosures that were repaired. Um,

[23:47] Binkley Woods and Dyer again when one repair at the sports complex

[23:51] for the 3-in water lane water man kind of blew out on one of the teeth. So, I

[23:57] don't know if there's exactly highlights, but that's kind of what we

[23:59] spent some time on dealing with. Got a note for the community as the

[24:04] daylight hours get shorter. Uh if you do have street lights out uh on your street

[24:08] or in your subdivision, uh you can contact city hall uh to report those or

[24:12] on the city's web web page. Um each pole's identified with a tag number

[24:17] that's facing the street. Uh those are rep represented with a wax number or a

[24:22] wa or even a Z. So if you see these lights and want to get them called in,

[24:26] just kind of get an early start this year before Halloween kind of gets gets

[24:29] here. Um, other than that, we got a lot of

[24:32] pavilion rentals available for fall parties. Reservations can be made

[24:36] through the city's website. Come out, enjoy the parks.

[26:16] repairs and ditch work. We located the water service on Rainbow

[26:23] Drive, which might not seem like a big deal, but it was a big deal because

[26:26] nobody knew where it was at. >> You get bowls all over the yard, huh?

[26:31] » Yes, we did. >> Mhm.

[26:33] » Uh replaced the 3/4 water service on Veterans,

[26:37] the fence that repaired on Pikney Street. We had no sword calls for the

[26:43] month. Well 10 is filled and [clears throat]

[26:50] was disinfected and we wait we're waiting for the results to come back for

[26:54] that and then we're going to schedule with the contractor for setting up the

[26:58] controls in the skater system. Rainbow water line has started uh in

[27:05] late September. The north service road sewer has started. They have the board

[27:11] done under the highway under the outer road. Boarding company completed that

[27:16] today. They need to remove the rest of the equipment tomorrow and then the rest

[27:20] of the work should be done sometime next week.

[27:24] uh contractor for paving has started and they've been doing some mill work on

[27:28] Pinkney now and then they got North Morgan Banner from Banner to Troy to 47

[27:35] that's on the agenda and at the plant most of the plant work right now is

[27:40] electrical till we get ready to do the switch change over start taking things

[27:44] out of service and switching to the new items that we have at the plant. Any

[27:54] going to go all the way to the gravel on the south.
