All right. So, weing
[0:03]
and Phil everyone's here except uh we're
[0:06]
waiting on Jen.
[0:09]
So, maybe we could
[0:12]
I don't know. Did everybody get a chance
[0:14]
to look at the minutes? I thought it was
[0:17]
spot on. Yep.
[0:19]
>> So, I guess I'll move that we accept the
[0:21]
minutes as they're written.
[0:22]
>> Second.
[0:24]
>> All in favor?
[0:26]
>> All right. Um, so we're gonna have the
[0:29]
folks from the uh
[0:33]
farm to school uh effort here a little
[0:36]
later. So I thought we could kind of Why
[0:39]
don't we Why don't we do um you want
[0:42]
Dave, you want to talk about the signs
[0:44]
here? Give us an update.
[0:45]
>> Yeah. Okay. Um that new quote
[0:48]
um for five signs with the artwork
[0:53]
comes out $495
[0:56]
for five signs with the artwork.
[0:59]
>> Wow. Okay, great. And you want to do
[1:02]
five? Well,
[1:03]
>> yeah, that's what the quote was. We said
[1:05]
five. So, if you want to
[1:07]
>> No, no. I mean, we have 1,600 to spend
[1:10]
>> and I have uh yours
[1:13]
two signs.
[1:15]
>> Okay. Yep. Yep. So, uh Amy Lali, we who
[1:20]
works here in the town office and Jimmy
[1:22]
Galanka both wanted a sign for a display
[1:27]
that's going to be both on Route Five.
[1:29]
We're not allowed to put one. It just
[1:32]
off of the right away. Right. Yeah. So,
[1:34]
I'm sure Jim will put it on his farm.
[1:36]
Right. So, Okay. Well, that's uh that's
[1:39]
great. How well
[1:40]
>> I gota I get, you know, we have to
[1:42]
figure out I'm going to bring up that
[1:44]
one picture where digital. You got to
[1:48]
have it digital.
[1:49]
>> Yeah.
[1:49]
>> Take a little time to get it digital,
[1:51]
you know, to get it
[1:54]
>> to. Okay. But Joanne can do that or
[1:57]
>> we got a we got that one copy we had. We
[2:00]
had the big sign with the blue
[2:03]
background. That's copy. The only thing
[2:06]
is the tractor in there is uh could be
[2:09]
copyright because it's not uh
[2:14]
took they took it off another picture.
[2:16]
>> Okay. So, we can get the tractor, but
[2:18]
they're they're going to when I go up
[2:19]
there, we're going to figure it out.
[2:21]
>> Okay.
[2:22]
>> So, do you need a check? Is that kind of
[2:25]
the next thing?
[2:26]
>> I think so. Um they said they uh I got
[2:29]
the I can leave this here.
[2:32]
Keep it.
[2:32]
>> Yeah, I'll take it. you know, but um um
[2:35]
they want to deposit for like $971.
[2:39]
>> Okay. Which is like
[2:42]
>> three quarters of
[2:43]
>> Yeah. The final balance is $323.75.
[2:48]
» Okay. I bet the uh
[2:51]
>> I bet the balance
[2:56]
» why don't we um All right. Let me just
[2:58]
talk Let me just talk to Peter. Um, so
[3:01]
it was like 971
[3:03]
versus like 1280 something.
[3:06]
>> Yeah, 1295.
[3:07]
>> 95.
[3:09]
>> I don't know. Maybe this needs to put it
[3:11]
in check.
[3:12]
>> Yeah, it it probably is. I'll I'll let
[3:14]
them decide. So
[3:17]
>> if they want to do it between checks or
[3:19]
one check and how much money?
[3:22]
>> Yeah.
[3:23]
>> How much was the um yours? Yeah, the two
[3:27]
for
[3:27]
>> uh $478.13
[3:32]
because you're not uh the town doesn't
[3:34]
get charged tax, right?
[3:35]
>> This is private, so you were charged
[3:37]
sales tax or $28.
[3:39]
>> All right, so that's about $239 a piece.
[3:42]
All right, that's less artwork than I
[3:44]
told
[3:45]
that's not bad.
[3:46]
>> Yeah, that's
[3:48]
the artwork
[3:50]
included.
[3:52]
>> Okay. Well, let me let me talk to Peter
[3:54]
tomorrow and um and we'll just This is
[3:58]
for you that it's made out to you.
[4:00]
>> Oh, okay. So,
[4:03]
I promise I'm not mark anything up. I'm
[4:05]
just completing my ethics training.
[4:08]
>> Can't pro. We have to do that every
[4:10]
year.
[4:11]
>> Two years.
[4:12]
>> Well, there's one and that's I did want
[4:14]
to mention it. Okay. Well, so let's finish up the signs here. So,
[4:17]
let's let me talk to Peter and I'll just
[4:19]
I'll call you. I'll find you and we'll
[4:21]
just
[4:21]
>> Yeah.
[4:23]
Yeah.
[4:27]
>> I'll bring what I You should bring where
[4:29]
whatever you have.
[4:30]
>> Yep.
[4:31]
>> Okay.
[4:32]
>> So, you just need like a free stock
[4:33]
image of a tractor.
[4:35]
>> Yeah. Yeah. Because um the ones we had
[4:38]
there.
[4:40]
>> Yeah. But it sounds like hail can
[4:42]
provide, you know,
[4:44]
>> you know, it's nice tractors and stuff,
[4:46]
but it's almost, you know, something
[4:49]
that
[4:49]
>> they may be able to do make a minor
[4:53]
change to it and it'll be
[4:55]
>> it would be nice to try to that Joey. It
[4:58]
looks nicer. I mean, it looks more like
[5:00]
a farmer because it has,
[5:02]
>> you know, the baseball hat maybe changed
[5:04]
to get instead of a straw hat. The
[5:06]
baseball hat, you know, most farmers got
[5:08]
baseball hats. They don't have straw
[5:09]
hats and
[5:10]
>> Yeah. else, you know, that kind of
[5:11]
thing.
[5:12]
>> Okay. So, seems really uh helpful and
[5:15]
interested. So, they really want to get
[5:18]
going as soon as we can.
[5:20]
>> Okay.
[5:22]
So, we uh I told them, you know,
[5:25]
we'll get the meeting today.
[5:32]
» So, so my understanding is that we've
[5:34]
chosen the artwork that was done by
[5:37]
Joanne, right? And there there was there
[5:40]
was a picture
[5:41]
>> that that was like a digital ditch. She
[5:43]
did got done for somebody that heard for
[5:45]
her. So, okay, I can bring up that
[5:47]
picture
[5:48]
>> because we want to have a different kind
[5:50]
of background, right? Show that
[5:52]
basically shows a different background.
[5:54]
>> Okay. So, so that's we're not nobody's
[5:57]
talking about using that tractor image.
[5:59]
We're just talking about using Joans,
[6:02]
>> right?
[6:02]
>> Okay. I just But
[6:04]
>> unless they can't do it, but I would
[6:05]
think they'd be able to do it because
[6:07]
everything's digital. Well, they can
[6:08]
get, you know, they got
[6:11]
somehow.
[6:12]
>> If if they can't, then we'll find out
[6:14]
why they can't. We'll just take care of
[6:16]
Yeah.
[6:18]
>> Okay. We have our next We have our next
[6:21]
move on that. That's great. Um, so, uh,
[6:25]
yeah. Curious. Will this be installed by
[6:28]
the spring, you think, or?
[6:30]
>> I guess probably. I would think if we
[6:32]
got the signs, you know. Yeah, I think
[6:35]
some afternoon, you know, once the signs
[6:37]
are made, I think they want to put them
[6:38]
right up. The highway department, he
[6:40]
said some they were going to do it.
[6:43]
>> Yeah. And they got the poles, any kind
[6:45]
of poles that would work, you know. So,
[6:47]
>> right. Of course, they're pretty good
[6:49]
size signs 18 by 24.
[6:53]
>> So, we're going to like mark like put a
[6:55]
stake in the ground or something where
[6:56]
they go.
[6:57]
>> I think they're going to try to put them
[6:59]
on existing poles. Okay. So, and if and
[7:03]
if that doesn't work out for any reason,
[7:05]
I think there was some thinking we might
[7:07]
have.
[7:07]
>> Yeah, we have uh five different
[7:09]
locations. I think two on River Road to
[7:12]
up by um coming from Conway by the
[7:15]
reservoir the one right there
[7:18]
>> u from the reservoir from coming from
[7:20]
Williamsburg to from Williamsburg this
[7:24]
way the way he put one there. That's
[7:26]
some place to find a school or
[7:27]
something.
[7:28]
>> Sales.
[7:29]
>> Mhm.
[7:30]
>> On the school entryway.
[7:32]
>> Yeah.
[7:34]
>> Cases.
[7:36]
>> Great place to start.
[7:39]
>> Yeah. Yeah. Um
[7:43]
All right. Good. Um so I guess next on
[7:47]
the list here is the weightly scoop
[7:49]
spring summer inclusion. The big
[7:52]
beautiful bill was volunteered
[7:57]
arm twisted to be the
[8:02]
» to be the liaison the soup. So signal
[8:06]
team and we need to buy was it
[8:10]
>> I I put my most recent scoop in excill
[8:24]
» anyway I think it says in the back
[8:28]
in case you're three or so
[8:31]
seems like it's more than four times a
[8:33]
year seems like it does, but it's not
[8:36]
like always a little bit of mailbox or
[8:39]
spoons.
[8:41]
>> So, um I think it would be great if we
[8:43]
hit the next edition with sort of maybe
[8:46]
a an explanation of what what everyone's
[8:49]
going to see as they drive around town.
[8:54]
And I honestly I sat down a couple times
[8:56]
to because we kept missing scoop
[8:58]
deadlines by like four hours. And I I
[9:03]
was sitting down to try to write
[9:04]
something after having read this right
[9:06]
like actually read the right to farm
[9:09]
bylaws. And it's really kind of like
[9:12]
you know it it's written to protect
[9:15]
farmers from nuisance lawsuits and and
[9:17]
the you know it's like kind of hard. I
[9:20]
know Bill's gonna do a good job, but I
[9:22]
think it'll be tricky to kind of not
[9:24]
sound like, hey, we're going to do
[9:26]
whatever we want, right?
[9:28]
>> You know,
[9:29]
>> and you're going to deal with nothing
[9:31]
you can do about it. This is why. And
[9:33]
so, it's going to be a little bit tricky
[9:35]
to tone the thing, right, for, you know,
[9:38]
>> the public
[9:38]
>> general consumption. Yeah. But, uh, you
[9:41]
could add something about like the
[9:42]
pamphlets and the and the farm and the
[9:46]
signs going up to kind of tone it down a
[9:50]
little bit, you know, and like
[9:51]
>> have it be sort of an inclusive
[9:54]
community vibe to it.
[9:55]
>> Yeah. So, you know, a lot of important
[9:57]
agricultures in the town area.
[10:00]
>> Yeah. And we got the best we got the we
[10:03]
got a word smith on it.
[10:05]
>> That's correct.
[10:06]
So no to the
[10:10]
Joey and Danny for
[10:15]
» Yeah. Jo.
[10:18]
It actually might be kind of nice if we
[10:20]
could get a picture. Do they do pictures
[10:22]
on the scoop from
[10:28]
» on every page?
[10:30]
Um, I wonder if we could get a picture
[10:32]
of maybe Joanne with next to one of the
[10:35]
signs.
[10:37]
>> She She So, she was the artist for this.
[10:39]
>> Correct. Yeah.
[10:41]
>> Be good for spring or summer or summer.
[10:44]
>> And then I wonder if maybe we could get
[10:46]
the updated pamphlet in the June
[10:49]
>> the uh the June edition.
[10:52]
>> Sorry, we threw you off. That's okay.
[10:54]
Just hung out with the folks over there
[10:56]
for a while like Right.
[11:01]
>> Like, oh, wait a minute. They're talking
[11:02]
about important things.
[11:08]
» Oh, thanks for coming, Teresa.
[11:10]
>> Thanks.
[11:12]
>> Um, I don't know. Any any thoughts about
[11:16]
that? You want to write something about
[11:18]
it? Maybe bring it for us to look at
[11:20]
next month? Sure. We're talking about
[11:22]
Bob.
[11:24]
I mean, there's a lot of things we can
[11:25]
discuss.
[11:27]
>> Yeah. I think maybe I mean my a couple
[11:30]
subjects here, but we're limited in what
[11:32]
we can
[11:33]
>> Yeah, we're doing something every issue. You know, I think mo a lot
[11:40]
of town committees, you know, historical
[11:42]
society, etc., etc. kind of checks in,
[11:46]
>> you know, this is
[11:48]
>> Yeah. the housing committee, the giving
[11:50]
garden here, you know,
[11:53]
housing committee up. Yeah. So, you
[11:55]
know, there's and I think it's also kind
[11:58]
of an advertisement for participation to
[12:00]
an extent, too. Yeah. You know,
[12:04]
>> um yeah. So, I don't know. The signs uh
[12:07]
look for
[12:11]
participating in uh garden renovations
[12:14]
at the elementary school.
[12:19]
Okay.
[12:23]
All right. Great. Thank you for doing
[12:25]
that.
[12:26]
>> Haven't done your head.
[12:30]
Proud of you already.
[12:33]
Oh, okay. And then this do I have?
[12:37]
Um, thank you.
[12:41]
All right. So, Teresa is here from the
[12:45]
farm to school
[12:47]
group. Uh, just you or Megan or just
[12:52]
Oh.
[12:54]
So, we're you're in the sort of uh
[12:56]
stages of planning uh some renovations
[12:59]
of the garden. You're trying to jive
[13:01]
with the the landscaping proposals that were submitted
[13:06]
>> and I I've made some copies.
[13:09]
>> Awesome. I can share those. These are
[13:11]
the It's the approved draft.
[13:14]
>> Yep.
[13:14]
>> So, it's not going to be finalized, I
[13:17]
think, until the spring. Um
[13:21]
but there it is. And I think it said um
[13:26]
how much space was was allowable, but
[13:29]
it's considered
[13:30]
>> I think 2,000.
[13:33]
>> Yeah. Which is great.
[13:35]
>> Um it's small.
[13:37]
Uh but you can see the garden beds, the
[13:40]
raised vegetable and herb
[13:44]
beds. One, two, four, eight.
[13:48]
Um
[13:50]
>> yep.
[13:50]
>> On there. So yeah, so that was good to
[13:53]
because that was, you know, one of my
[13:55]
concerns thinking about going in in the
[13:59]
spring is just making sure we were
[14:01]
fitting in that within that bigger plan.
[14:05]
>> Um, but yeah, there looks like there's a
[14:07]
lot of room. And then on the back, I
[14:09]
believe it's phase
[14:12]
proposed phen. Yeah.
[14:16]
>> Or just it just explains their basics,
[14:19]
>> right? They weren't going to try to do
[14:20]
everything at once,
[14:22]
>> right?
[14:27]
» Um,
[14:28]
we were actually going to try um to
[14:31]
schedule a kind of community garden day
[14:34]
in April. Um, to try to get folks, you
[14:38]
know, more buying from the community,
[14:40]
more people involved. Um, and we have a
[14:44]
small budget for materials and soil and
[14:48]
things like that. Um,
[14:51]
but I've wondered if we could coordinate
[14:53]
in terms of timing
[14:55]
>> and if you can let me know um, you know,
[14:59]
materials if you could make some
[15:01]
recommendations that great of things
[15:03]
that we should prepare for.
[15:05]
>> Right. Right. Um, so do you have a a
[15:08]
sense of what you want to try to get
[15:10]
done this spring?
[15:12]
Well, I mean, anything we do is going to
[15:15]
be an improvement. I mean, there's right
[15:18]
like um
[15:18]
>> there's nowhere to go but up.
[15:20]
>> There's nowhere to go but
[15:22]
>> um so I think you had mentioned some
[15:24]
renovation on the the raspberries
[15:27]
because they kids love the raspberries
[15:29]
there. Yeah.
[15:30]
>> Um and so we want to make sure we keep
[15:32]
them. Um,
[15:34]
but maybe clean them up a little bit and
[15:36]
I can contact
[15:39]
» if we can get some more.
[15:44]
» Oh, hi.
[15:47]
>> We might be looking for donated
[15:49]
blueberry and raspberry.
[15:52]
>> I think I know those.
[15:55]
>> Do you know a guy?
[16:00]
» That person I ever use is Rachel.
[16:04]
facial with my neck. Okay. Yep. Anyway,
[16:08]
>> I've tried best.
[16:09]
>> Okay.
[16:10]
>> Um but you know, we're pretty
[16:14]
the school hasn't shared any like
[16:16]
specific needs. They just want they just
[16:19]
want a space where they can get out
[16:20]
there in the dirt.
[16:21]
>> Y
[16:22]
>> um we've been working with um in each of
[16:24]
the schools we have kind of a lead
[16:26]
educator. And so lately it's Amy Tibbit
[16:29]
in the third grade. Um and she's been
[16:32]
wonderful. She's just super anxious to
[16:34]
get the kids out there. So um we're
[16:37]
actually starting with um some garlic.
[16:39]
We're doing some unconventional garlic
[16:42]
planning. Um we're seeing some spring
[16:44]
garlic and doing some containers and
[16:46]
things like that in the classroom. And
[16:48]
we actually were were purchasing an
[16:51]
indoor grow pack for that class so that
[16:54]
each of the classes within they can have
[16:57]
their own like tray and starts. We were
[16:59]
hoping we could do some starters for
[17:02]
when we get the garden
[17:03]
>> and just get something out there, you
[17:05]
know, just get it going.
[17:07]
>> Sure.
[17:08]
>> Um because these plants are super
[17:09]
exciting and look
[17:11]
>> awesome and comprehensive and it's going
[17:13]
to take a while. So, we're trying to get
[17:17]
things.
[17:19]
>> Yeah.
[17:20]
It's pretty cool.
[17:23]
>> Um so, yeah, we're just beginning to do
[17:26]
the planning for the garden restoration.
[17:28]
So, I'm I'm really open. We are very
[17:30]
open to you.
[17:31]
>> Sure.
[17:33]
>> Well, I know, you know, we had been
[17:34]
talking I had been talking with Amy
[17:37]
about trying to support
[17:39]
they I thought they were going to do a
[17:41]
community garden.
[17:43]
>> Yeah.
[17:43]
>> And we were talking about supporting
[17:45]
that and then I'm not hearing too much
[17:47]
talk about that. Eric, are you tuned
[17:48]
into the
[17:49]
>> Yeah. So, I have a little bit I was
[17:51]
going to say at the end I can give a
[17:53]
little
[17:53]
>> Okay. It's it's it's
[17:57]
slow. Um they've done like updates on
[18:01]
mission statement and values and kind of
[18:05]
what the proposal is. They have a
[18:07]
meeting on Thursday that I'm hoping to
[18:09]
zoom into.
[18:10]
>> Um and then I'll be able to report more.
[18:14]
But uh right now it's I have like some
[18:17]
basics on what like the mission
[18:18]
statement is and
[18:19]
>> okay
[18:20]
>> things like that. and they're trying to
[18:22]
they're going to do a scoop article. Um,
[18:25]
and they're trying to, you know, get
[18:27]
people
[18:29]
interested in the in the idea of the
[18:31]
project.
[18:32]
>> Okay. Okay. I I know I had I had some
[18:35]
lumber mil to make raised beds,
[18:38]
>> right?
[18:38]
>> And and it's there. And I've also got
[18:41]
some other stuff that could go for that,
[18:43]
you know, for that. of this. And I know
[18:45]
Mike, you were talking. I can I can
[18:47]
throw some views of
[18:49]
>> potting soil at it. You could throw some
[18:52]
compost at it. I'm sure there's some
[18:53]
parent material to work with, too. So,
[18:56]
oh, I'll figure these three roughly.
[18:59]
>> Well, that's part of the plan.
[19:01]
>> I think we said a 4x4, right?
[19:04]
>> Small smaller.
[19:06]
>> Yeah. I mean, I guess we wanted to see
[19:08]
what the school wanted ultimately.
[19:10]
>> Yeah. But I think the ones we're talking
[19:12]
about for you know
[19:13]
>> Yeah, that's I'm confusing the two. I
[19:15]
think with Amy I just said 4x4 is a
[19:18]
yard. So it's
[19:20]
>> Do you know what I mean? Like 4x4 foot
[19:23]
high is one yard of material.
[19:25]
>> Oh, okay.
[19:26]
>> So that keeps it like
[19:28]
>> Yeah.
[19:28]
>> easy. Or you could do a 4x8. It's too
[19:32]
you know something.
[19:33]
>> Okay.
[19:34]
>> A four a 4x 8 8 in two. A 4x8 is 32 *
[19:39]
2/3
[19:41]
64.
[19:43]
>> Is it a 4x8 is a yard? I can't remember.
[19:45]
I had it all figured out when I
[19:47]
>> because 4x8 is 32 squared.
[19:50]
>> And then if you multiply that by 2/3
[19:55]
I can figure it out in a second, but
[19:56]
there's a handy guard calculator that I
[19:59]
came up with for our website.
[20:00]
>> 21 and a3.4.
[20:06]
Okay. So yeah, so a 4x8 and 8 in high is
[20:10]
a little less than a yard.
[20:12]
>> Yeah.
[20:13]
>> Um
[20:15]
so that's actually that's kind of a good
[20:16]
number to to remember. But um
[20:19]
>> yeah, it's a 4 by8 if you don't fill it
[20:22]
a foot, you know, 10 in is the yard.
[20:25]
>> Okay.
[20:25]
>> Because I always tell people not to fill
[20:27]
them all the way at the top
[20:29]
>> because then you can't buy more compost.
[20:33]
No, but like you want to you can't just
[20:35]
you just put it in there and then never
[20:36]
put add anything,
[20:38]
>> right? You plant. Yeah.
[20:40]
>> Yeah. You got to add some top dressing
[20:42]
compost every year, you know.
[20:44]
>> Right.
[20:45]
>> Okay. All right. So, that that gives us
[20:47]
a good reference. But I mean, I think I
[20:49]
think some folks here are ready to
[20:51]
contribute, you know, the actual
[20:53]
materials and, you know, perhaps be
[20:55]
reimbursed in a tiny way. Um if it if
[20:59]
you know but um it sound you know it
[21:02]
sounded like you had enough money to
[21:03]
play with to at least get started.
[21:05]
>> I think so.
[21:06]
>> Yeah. I'd love to get a couple apple
[21:09]
trees in there.
[21:11]
>> Yeah, I think there's space for that,
[21:13]
too.
[21:14]
>> Yeah. Yeah, cuz it looks like they have
[21:16]
like several.
[21:18]
>> Yeah,
[21:20]
>> we can probably get a cherry to put in
[21:22]
there. We're putting some cherries in
[21:24]
ours this spring. Okay. I'm sure I can
[21:26]
just take one or two
[21:29]
>> cuz yeah, maybe
[21:31]
I I'll talk with Bailey about it. He
[21:34]
knows more. But uh yeah, it probably
[21:37]
isn't too. And I mean, I don't know if
[21:38]
it's an interest, but I've got a ton of
[21:40]
chestnuts that
[21:43]
they get pretty big and you definitely
[21:45]
need two to produce nuts, but they're up
[21:48]
for grabs. One thought I'm having about
[21:51]
cherries is I think when they're
[21:54]
pickable, the kids aren't going to be
[21:55]
there.
[21:56]
>> Well, right. Yeah, they're they're going
[21:57]
to be July.
[22:00]
>> Yeah, June and July. No. Yeah, they'll
[22:02]
be a little earlier,
[22:04]
>> I think. End of June. Cherries.
[22:07]
>> Yeah, let me check. Yeah, that's
[22:10]
>> summer programming. Not a whole lot.
[22:12]
There's a little bit at the time.
[22:15]
>> Okay. Well, if you wanted some
[22:18]
technology on getting the blueberries
[22:20]
and the raspberry planted, you just have
[22:22]
to contact me.
[22:23]
>> Do a little school.
[22:25]
>> Yeah.
[22:26]
>> Oh, that would be great.
[22:27]
>> Cool.
[22:27]
>> That'd be really cool.
[22:28]
>> Okay.
[22:31]
>> One thought I had actually after I read
[22:33]
your email there, Teresa, today was one way, you know, we could certainly
[22:39]
the Acom could earmark funds for this.
[22:41]
How cool would this be? Like this time
[22:44]
of year, the sixth grade plans a gift
[22:49]
for the kindergarteners
[22:51]
like a tree
[22:53]
>> or a bird bath or something for the
[22:55]
garden and then it gets ordered. That's
[22:58]
something we can pay for, right? And
[23:00]
then you know and then before they go in
[23:02]
the spring they you know plant get the
[23:04]
tree planted
[23:05]
>> like
[23:08]
those kindergarteners do the same thing
[23:10]
when they see the thing grow up you know
[23:13]
and and make fruit a few you know when
[23:15]
they're a few years later
[23:20]
» so this number two area
[23:23]
is this something that's kind of loosely
[23:25]
planned out or it looks like the rocks
[23:30]
It says it says natural playground.
[23:33]
>> Playground.
[23:34]
>> Is that
[23:36]
should be that's so that's to north of
[23:38]
the basketball field. So it's going to
[23:40]
be like a little minefield of like
[23:42]
things that they can jump and climb.
[23:45]
>> I think so. I I I think these snake
[23:48]
these sort of snaking uh stone paths are
[23:52]
to control erosion in in natural the
[23:56]
natural flow of rain, you know, coming
[23:58]
off the building and
[23:59]
>> and just in general back there. I
[24:04]
>> I mean, if it's if it's anything like it
[24:06]
was in 1980, the kids are going to be
[24:08]
throwing these rocks at each other, you
[24:10]
know.
[24:11]
>> Well, I I do wonder about that. I I feel
[24:15]
like every school that we talk to about
[24:17]
gardens, when we speak to the
[24:19]
maintenance folks, that's like the first
[24:21]
thing they say. No small rocks.
[24:24]
>> Right. Right.
[24:27]
>> It's large rocks.
[24:28]
>> Large rocks.
[24:29]
is something our farm has
[24:32]
quite a lot. We'd be happy to contribute
[24:35]
>> for the hardscape
[24:37]
>> rocks. We have a gravel bank, so there's
[24:39]
lots of sort of, you know, ranging
[24:43]
bouldery sizes to some that are quite
[24:45]
big, but cool. Just need to get them
[24:48]
transported over there. I don't think I
[24:50]
have anything safe enough to do that
[24:51]
right now, but when the time comes,
[24:54]
>> yeah,
[24:55]
>> you know, we can go pick around in
[24:56]
there.
[24:57]
>> Yeah.
[24:58]
>> Who's the like who is there?
[25:00]
>> So, what you're looking at is you you
[25:02]
could explain it as well. So,
[25:04]
>> actually went to the the walks. You
[25:06]
know, more than I can tell. This is um
[25:08]
Landscape Interactions is a company in
[25:11]
Leiden that's owned by Okay.
[25:12]
>> this guy Evan that's
[25:14]
>> a designer.
[25:15]
>> Yes. Yes. And so these are he got a
[25:19]
grant or the town got a grant hired him
[25:21]
I guess they're his company to do these
[25:25]
pollinator friendly landscaping
[25:27]
proposals.
[25:29]
The next thing that has to happen is the
[25:32]
grant now that you have in design you
[25:34]
can go get the grants foration
[25:38]
but
[25:40]
>> that's not kind of yet planned that
[25:43]
>> yeah this I think this actually is
[25:45]
finalized in June or July maybe and then
[25:50]
some of this you know their their phase
[25:52]
three here at the school is 2029
[25:57]
» um so this you
[25:59]
I think that's what kind seeing that and the timing here motivated me to try
[26:04]
to get in and you know jump on the guard
[26:07]
>> and in the near future
[26:13]
motivate to continue with the rest of it
[26:16]
too. Yeah. You know the gardens in
[26:18]
>> right
[26:22]
again. Yeah. And you know, now they're
[26:25]
just remembering the uh I don't are
[26:28]
chestnuts an allergen.
[26:30]
>> I wonder.
[26:33]
>> Yeah. Yeah, they probably are. Tree nut
[26:37]
might not be a great choice.
[26:39]
>> I don't know. Like at what point are
[26:41]
they an allergen? Is it just the pollen
[26:43]
or is it once they're actually shelled?
[26:44]
Because they're spitefuls.
[26:46]
>> So you're not That's the other thing.
[26:48]
They are. Well, yeah, they might not be
[26:50]
a great choice for that would be
[26:52]
>> I like your idea, though.
[26:54]
>> Yeah. I'm just saying they're a bad
[26:58]
thing about across the street and not
[27:00]
big like around that huge open.
[27:02]
>> Oh, sure. Yeah. Above parking lot.
[27:04]
>> Yeah.
[27:05]
You definitely want somewhere
[27:07]
where people aren't like walking a lot
[27:09]
or walking barefoot, you know,
[27:13]
>> like I mean they're beautiful, but Yeah.
[27:15]
There's fireballs.
[27:16]
>> Yeah. Yeah. They're really fun. That can
[27:17]
be fun to throw.
[27:19]
>> Yeah, I was just thinking
[27:20]
>> hard to pick up a six-year-old wing or
[27:23]
something.
[27:24]
>> Your leather work.
[27:26]
>> Can the trees go in like as soon as they
[27:29]
we have them so that they can start like
[27:31]
getting established or is is like the
[27:33]
work have to sort of be done when the
[27:36]
people are hired to do the work? Oh, I
[27:39]
mean I think as long as we're working
[27:42]
kind of,
[27:43]
you know, following this guide, I think
[27:46]
we could do,
[27:47]
>> you know, whatever.
[27:49]
>> Yep.
[27:50]
>> What kind of work is involved in the
[27:54]
remaining the raspberries? Like I know
[27:56]
you looked at them. Is it like they have
[27:58]
been totally neglected or do they just
[28:00]
need to get mowed down or bend or
[28:05]
>> you know there's oak probably that oak
[28:09]
trees a few of them that big around
[28:11]
growing up through it.
[28:12]
>> Okay.
[28:13]
>> I think they I don't know if they've
[28:14]
been mowed. I don't know if they get
[28:16]
mowed in the fall
[28:17]
>> or if
[28:20]
I don't know. I when I saw them it would
[28:23]
they were it was
[28:24]
>> well they they could have raspberries on
[28:26]
them then they you can treat a primacine
[28:28]
like a floropane right and prune it and
[28:31]
you want some help in pruning that
[28:34]
a little experience.
[28:36]
>> Yeah. Yeah. No, we I would like to
[28:38]
renovate it. Everything over there looks
[28:40]
like it needs fertilizer in a bad way
[28:42]
and the raspberries that they keep are
[28:44]
way too dense.
[28:46]
>> Okay.
[28:48]
>> It needs to be rotatilled. I think the
[28:50]
trellis needs work. Um, they felt like
[28:54]
Chrissy said that they thought it was
[28:56]
very productive. It didn't look like it
[28:58]
could possibly be very productive to me.
[29:02]
>> Well, with a lot of canes, it could have
[29:04]
a lot of berries on it, but
[29:05]
>> might not be very efficient at size.
[29:08]
Yeah.
[29:09]
>> Remedies if you want to set up a
[29:13]
>> a thing that remedy it. That'll be part of our work I think
[29:18]
there in the spring.
[29:19]
>> Okay.
[29:19]
>> And it will go right through it.
[29:21]
>> Um I almost think it might be worth
[29:23]
starting a second row
[29:26]
>> and when it's productive
[29:28]
>> then get rid of the old one.
[29:30]
>> Yeah.
[29:30]
>> I I would suggest that as well.
[29:33]
>> Yeah.
[29:36]
>> No. How many raspberry plants would be
[29:39]
thinking of planting? How how long a
[29:41]
row?
[29:41]
>> I think it's a 50ft row.
[29:43]
>> 25 plants. Yeah, that's easy. But, you
[29:47]
know, you could um you could pot those
[29:51]
up in the classroom
[29:53]
and then plant them out there
[29:56]
>> as a so that they have some activity
[30:02]
them watching them start.
[30:06]
>> I'd say sometime
[30:09]
into May, 1 of June. So, you don't want
[30:12]
to too do you don't want to have have
[30:13]
them too leggy, but
[30:15]
>> right,
[30:16]
>> you just want to have them established.
[30:18]
Then you dig a hole or or the pot and
[30:24]
>> Yeah.
[30:24]
Maybe they can get them in the
[30:26]
ground before they leave for the summer.
[30:28]
Yeah. Right.
[30:29]
>> Yeah. Start them at the end of the year
[30:30]
and then
[30:31]
>> come back in the fall.
[30:32]
and they're
[30:34]
they've grown.
[30:35]
>> Yeah.
[30:35]
>> You know that.
[30:36]
>> Is there water there for someone?
[30:38]
There's actually really a pretty
[30:40]
convenient water source there.
[30:41]
>> Okay. Was it a water?
[30:44]
>> Well, I was just thinking that um their
[30:46]
head maintainer um I have to chat with
[30:49]
him next week. Um he's he's been really
[30:52]
supportive and I I think that this is
[30:54]
something that he would he would help in
[30:56]
that way.
[30:57]
>> Oh, very plans.
[31:00]
So, yeah. Yeah. beginning. We could uh
[31:04]
say I know I got a ton of tea tape.
[31:08]
We could we could put a roll of trickle
[31:10]
right there.
[31:10]
>> Yeah, that work.
[31:11]
>> Throw a pressure reducer in there. Put a
[31:14]
network of trickle.
[31:15]
>> You can just check on it basically.
[31:17]
>> Yeah. Yeah.
[31:18]
>> We can have um I have a little bit of of
[31:22]
money set aside for irrigation.
[31:24]
>> Okay.
[31:24]
>> So, if we get something
[31:28]
>> Okay.
[31:29]
>> We can put it out there.
[31:30]
>> Okay. Well, I mean, it seems like ideas
[31:32]
are kind of flowing. So, uh um is there a you said you're going to have
[31:39]
a planning meeting?
[31:42]
>> Yeah, I mean that we're just we thought
[31:44]
we could set a date for um like like I
[31:48]
said like a community work day and then
[31:50]
we can do all the planning until then of
[31:52]
what we need and and the different jobs
[31:54]
for folks.
[31:56]
>> Um yeah, but we'll meet more planning
[31:59]
meetings.
[32:00]
>> Okay. what exactly we're going to do.
[32:02]
>> Okay. I mean, I I I don't see why we
[32:05]
couldn't I don't think it would be, you
[32:07]
know, I wouldn't want to say we could do
[32:10]
eight 4x8 beds and promise Mike's going
[32:15]
to bring all the material needed to fill
[32:17]
it. That That's all order.
[32:19]
>> Yeah. I know.
[32:20]
>> But, you know, we could maybe there's
[32:23]
some money to buy half of it or some of
[32:26]
it could be some used toing soil from me. made some parent material to
[32:31]
work with. But, you know, if
[32:32]
>> Yeah, we could probably do like 80
[32:33]
yards. That's not
[32:35]
>> between like Yeah, it's
[32:37]
>> between the the all the Okay.
[32:39]
>> Yeah, we'll make it work.
[32:41]
>> All right. All right.
[32:42]
>> Why don't I get you like a firm budget
[32:45]
of what we can we can work with too and
[32:47]
then that'll
[32:49]
know what we got.
[32:50]
>> Yeah. All right.
[32:52]
>> Um and then we can kind of plot out how
[32:56]
we're going to do this.
[32:57]
>> Okay.
[32:59]
All right, good. What if if you got me
[33:02]
that info and we kind of pulled some
[33:04]
ideas and kind of came up with uh maybe
[33:07]
a proposal that we could give to you.
[33:10]
>> Sure.
[33:10]
>> Okay. Or, you know, February or March or
[33:13]
something like that.
[33:14]
>> This is where she might be here, too.
[33:16]
She can be like she she's got ideas,
[33:19]
too.
[33:20]
>> Yeah. And I don't want to put too much
[33:22]
on yellow either. So, we're
[33:24]
>> we're we're in it. We can be part of
[33:26]
that meeting.
[33:27]
>> Okay. Well, but why don't you, me and
[33:30]
Megan talk and then we'll just put a day
[33:32]
together to think about it.
[33:33]
>> That sounds good.
[33:34]
>> So, is it the four frontier towns that
[33:37]
are having gardens?
[33:39]
>> Yeah.
[33:40]
>> Okay.
[33:40]
>> And um Frontier Regional, too.
[33:44]
>> Four schools, elementary and then Yeah.
[33:46]
Wow. All schools.
[33:47]
>> We're trying.
[33:48]
>> That's awesome.
[33:50]
>> Have any of the other schools had guards
[33:52]
before or
[33:54]
>> Sure. Um, you know, I think the I think
[33:59]
there's a statistic on school gardens
[34:01]
that in the past they often cycle in
[34:03]
like three years um because they often
[34:06]
have like a champion or a couple people
[34:08]
in the community are like we need to do
[34:09]
this and then it happens and then it
[34:11]
kind of
[34:13]
>> tears out. So what we're trying to do is
[34:16]
set up gardens in a way that can be more
[34:19]
sustainable
[34:20]
>> um is so cool.
[34:22]
>> Right. I think Conway had I donated
[34:25]
something last year for Conway, so they
[34:27]
had a good Yeah.
[34:28]
>> Yeah, we're working on that one. That's
[34:29]
going to be a big garden there.
[34:31]
>> Yeah, that's what I the impression I
[34:33]
got.
[34:33]
>> Yeah. Yeah, that's a big project. So,
[34:36]
yeah, it's exciting.
[34:39]
>> Um there was something else I wanted to
[34:41]
run past. Um Frontier Regional is doing
[34:45]
a career fair March 25th.
[34:49]
Um, and we were wondering if if anyone
[34:52]
knows of um, farms who hire,
[34:58]
you know, seniors who have recently
[35:00]
graduated. We're looking to have some
[35:02]
folks come and be available for students
[35:05]
to talk to about employment
[35:06]
opportunities.
[35:08]
So, I don't know if anyone has ideas
[35:10]
about that. like full of leaves.
[35:14]
>> I wish I would have one or two for like
[35:18]
a summer job.
[35:19]
>> Yeah,
[35:20]
>> it seems like
[35:21]
>> um
[35:22]
>> the truth.
[35:24]
>> Should be doing more of that. I always
[35:26]
have
[35:27]
>> help kind of on call. It's nice to have
[35:30]
like somebody who's just kind of like if
[35:32]
you need them, you know, a few hours to
[35:34]
do during the week.
[35:35]
>> Yeah.
[35:36]
>> Can provide something to do.
[35:39]
>> Find me a
[35:40]
And it's Scott Farm.
[35:49]
» Yeah,
[35:50]
>> I'll just say I can definitely have be
[35:53]
on the list for them.
[35:54]
>> Okay.
[35:56]
>> So, were you looking for a list of farms
[35:59]
that might be looking to Okay.
[36:02]
>> Well, I think that that's
[36:05]
like that's one piece of it. And then if
[36:08]
there's a farm that's like we're
[36:10]
recruiting
[36:11]
>> students then you could actually come to
[36:13]
the career fair
[36:15]
>> and talk to students and it could even
[36:16]
be like you know just talking about
[36:20]
agriculture as a career path.
[36:22]
>> Um we're going to have GCC Tony Briber
[36:25]
from GCC come and talk about their
[36:28]
program there. Great.
[36:29]
>> Um but this would be more of a like
[36:31]
directly into the field kind of um kind
[36:36]
of opportunity or guidance on that.
[36:39]
>> So the whole thing is there's so many
[36:42]
career path I mean this is this plant
[36:43]
breeding pathology
[36:46]
>> aronomy um which you can go to school
[36:50]
for
[36:50]
>> right
[36:51]
>> not necessarily out there digging up the
[36:53]
weeds you know
[36:54]
>> I guess
[36:56]
>> aren't built for that anymore.
[36:58]
>> Well we need to get them back
[37:01]
to
[37:01]
>> get them back to you. Uh, okay. If I
[37:04]
ever break their arms,
[37:05]
>> tobacco for a summer
[37:08]
options, you know, like like I think
[37:10]
some kids like the path that they're on
[37:13]
is are those are those, you know, um,
[37:16]
sciences and and a four-year degree. And
[37:19]
then for some kids,
[37:21]
>> they need something right away um to get into. So, we're just hoping to
[37:27]
provide something for everyone.
[37:30]
I I don't know anybody who hires high
[37:32]
school kids anymore. I
[37:34]
>> hired a high school kid last summer.
[37:37]
>> How did it work out?
[37:38]
>> It was pretty good. He's great. I won't
[37:41]
bad mouth him here.
[37:44]
>> Being recorded.
[37:49]
» But that said, I mean like yeah, I do
[37:51]
like meeting cruise, you know, part-time
[37:53]
meeting cruise. I won't be here on the
[37:55]
25th, but uh
[37:58]
don't worry.
[37:58]
>> I'm just trying to think how could we,
[38:01]
you know, do we have how functional is
[38:04]
our like email out to all the farms in
[38:07]
town list?
[38:08]
>> I mean, it's current as of last year.
[38:10]
So, I don't think there's many new farms
[38:12]
that have come to town,
[38:14]
>> right,
[38:14]
>> last six months. I mean, I'm just
[38:16]
wondering if we should just put that
[38:19]
>> just
[38:20]
>> put that out there and if anyone, you
[38:22]
know, we could if maybe do you want to
[38:24]
just get
[38:25]
>> the contact info and then just we send
[38:28]
one out for the adcom email.
[38:31]
>> That would be amazing.
[38:32]
>> And then just, you know, let us know and
[38:33]
you we can get you on a list for
[38:36]
>> I don't know how to word it exactly, but
[38:38]
>> yeah. Um, I could I could just draft
[38:41]
something and then
[38:43]
>> I could
[38:46]
send it to that from um email.
[38:49]
>> Yeah.
[38:49]
>> Okay.
[38:50]
>> You see that, right?
[38:51]
>> Mhm.
[38:52]
>> Okay.
[38:53]
>> You don't have your own, do you?
[38:54]
>> No.
[38:55]
>> Okay. Okay.
[38:57]
>> Do you know Penny and Dan Simmerski?
[38:59]
They're in Sunderland, but that's what I
[39:01]
picked asparagus for, you know, really.
[39:03]
>> Yeah. And they do weeding as well, but
[39:05]
my focus was asparagus.
[39:09]
Yeah, but they have primarily a Vietnam
[39:12]
crew or something. I think they
[39:13]
>> do. They now
[39:14]
>> they have
[39:15]
>> I mean it's changed since I was in high
[39:16]
school. I didn't know if they're still
[39:17]
doing high schoolers.
[39:19]
>> Yeah,
[39:20]
I I think that's what they're using now
[39:23]
for their harvest because their harvest
[39:26]
starts May.
[39:27]
>> Yeah, the kids are still
[39:29]
>> Yeah, they were the weekend for
[39:30]
>> and like Hadley, they don't give the day
[39:32]
off for the kids anymore
[39:35]
or something to go pick asparagus.
[39:38]
Well, John Lasel hires a lot of young
[39:41]
kids for like summer Dalia season. I
[39:45]
mean, he, you know, maybe throughout the
[39:48]
season, too, but
[39:53]
» I know his phone number off the top of
[39:54]
my head.
[39:55]
>> I think it was him
[39:58]
>> back from the days when we all remember
[40:00]
phone numbers.
[40:01]
>> Yep. Yeah.
[40:03]
Um, right. That is right. So he would,
[40:06]
you know, I don't know if he's looking
[40:08]
for more people for next year, but it'd
[40:10]
be in the list. So
[40:13]
>> be a good resource for for career days
[40:17]
just to have a list of farms where you
[40:19]
could even if it's
[40:20]
>> might even come set up a table. Yeah.
[40:22]
You never know.
[40:23]
>> It's just part-time work for the summer
[40:25]
after high school.
[40:26]
>> Right. Right.
[40:27]
>> You need to do something and learn to do
[40:30]
something. Some of them don't even know
[40:31]
how to push a broom. So
[40:35]
It's crazy.
[40:37]
>> Thank you. Thanks for drafting that up.
[40:39]
Maybe you send that tag, email, get
[40:41]
it'll see all the farmers and then just
[40:44]
put your like contact info and help
[40:47]
folks reach out for us to Great.
[40:53]
» That was
[40:55]
those are the things.
[40:56]
>> Okay.
[40:57]
>> We also applied we applied for another
[40:59]
grant um that would keep us working for
[41:02]
another two years. Okay,
[41:03]
>> we will see.
[41:08]
» What's the source of the
[41:10]
>> USDA?
[41:11]
>> Okay,
[41:12]
>> but it's a specific farm to school
[41:14]
brand. It's, you know,
[41:17]
>> think we're in a good position for it,
[41:19]
but you know,
[41:21]
>> never know. Yeah.
[41:23]
>> Great.
[41:24]
>> All right. Well, thanks for coming in.
[41:27]
>> Thank you.
[41:28]
>> You still have more. We do business.
[41:31]
>> Yep. We got a few more things.
[41:33]
>> Okay.
[41:34]
>> You're welcome to stick around.
[41:38]
>> Okay.
[41:40]
>> Nothing terribly exciting. You're not
[41:42]
really
[41:43]
>> catching later.
[41:45]
>> Okay. There you go. I repeat those
[41:48]
things.
[41:57]
» Thank you.
[42:00]
Um,
[42:01]
>> what's your last name?
[42:03]
>> We'll find out.
[42:05]
Should we jump for the admin or do you
[42:07]
want to do farm stand?
[42:09]
>> Um, let's do admin. Um, yes. So, Tori is leaving and a woman named Katherine
[42:16]
has been hired and I think is probably
[42:19]
being hired in the room next door
[42:21]
officially right now and can start
[42:24]
working at the time of the next meeting.
[42:27]
I I did I have not met Katherine. I was
[42:30]
unable to attend the interview. So um uh
[42:35]
so and so I wanted to talk about any
[42:38]
transition needs. Inventory's been kind
[42:41]
enough to keep coming month after month. The municipal hiring
[42:47]
process has been fast.
[42:50]
So, um, and one thing that Tori did was
[42:54]
this folding pamphlet with all the farms
[42:58]
that wanted to be listed on town that
[43:00]
was distributed, you know, at Gongkins
[43:02]
in the library holding all those.
[43:04]
>> Yeah.
[43:04]
>> You know, well, a lot of them as well
[43:11]
at time, but um, so, you know, that's
[43:14]
one thing. I don't know
[43:18]
if Catherine is someone who's going to
[43:21]
want to jump right into kind of managing
[43:24]
that because it's it's I think how I
[43:27]
mean we kind of need to keep the
[43:29]
information a little bit updated I
[43:31]
guess. So it would be smart.
[43:33]
>> I was going to double whammy it when I
[43:35]
blast everybody about to say, "Hey, also
[43:37]
if your information was changed, let us
[43:39]
know. We're putting together the farm
[43:41]
pamphlet and then
[43:42]
>> and maybe even attach the damp."
[43:44]
>> Yeah. and be like, "If you want any
[43:45]
changes,
[43:47]
>> I want to include new work."
[43:48]
>> Okay. All right. So, right there, that's the first key step
[43:53]
>> and um we'll just tune Catherine into
[43:55]
that process. I was just thinking maybe
[43:58]
a couple of us could kind of with
[44:00]
Catherine at some point kind of review
[44:02]
all the farms in town. We could just do
[44:04]
it at a meeting,
[44:05]
>> I guess. And um
[44:07]
>> we can do a side meeting too with her so
[44:09]
she's familiar.
[44:10]
>> Okay. Okay. All right. So maybe it just
[44:14]
seems like we'll keep talking about that
[44:16]
and what needs to happen. But
[44:19]
>> yeah, does anyone here know how to use
[44:20]
Canva?
[44:22]
>> Design software completely free. All you
[44:25]
have to do is typically tap type right
[44:28]
in. It's already a template
[44:29]
>> and trainable.
[44:31]
>> Okay. Because I guess that would be the
[44:32]
only thing. But if she's in college, she
[44:34]
knows how to use it. So
[44:36]
>> Okay. All right. Well, I guess we'll
[44:38]
meet Catherine. You'll meet Catherine.
[44:40]
>> Yeah. I don't know, but you're excited
[44:43]
to be
[44:44]
>> Is she local or
[44:45]
>> I don't even know. I I I'm
[44:47]
>> I mean it was
[44:48]
>> we know nothing about this. I meant like
[44:50]
>> absolutely nothing. But my understanding
[44:53]
is that they were ex very experienced
[44:56]
and may even have been an admin admin
[44:59]
assistant at for some other municipality
[45:03]
or in some way. But uh yeah, no, I had a
[45:08]
truckload of produce and a driver tap
[45:11]
out at 3:18 in the morning, I think it
[45:13]
was.
[45:16]
>> I spent the day in Connecticut and
[45:18]
that's us. But um so yeah, this will be new. I traded emails. We
[45:24]
seem, you know, ready to go. So
[45:29]
um so we will meet uh Katherine next
[45:31]
week, next month rather. Um, and I guess
[45:34]
that sort of, you know, covers the
[45:36]
pamphlet enough. We'll just uh manage
[45:39]
that as it goes. Um, so we are going to
[45:43]
change our meeting date. I think we all
[45:46]
talked about that, but Mondays was kind
[45:48]
of the consensus.
[45:54]
» Monday, that would be February.
[45:58]
Uh, first is a Sunday. That means the
[46:02]
8th is a Sunday. 9th 10th. Is that
[46:05]
right? February the 10th.
[46:06]
>> 9th.
[46:07]
February 9th.
[46:09]
>> Right.
[46:09]
>> Oh, yeah. Monday.
[46:10]
>> Monday.
[46:11]
Right. Okay.
[46:12]
>> February.
[46:15]
>> Same time.
[46:16]
>> Yeah.
[46:17]
Um,
[46:20]
can you pull up the Weightley pound
[46:23]
meeting calendar and just see if like
[46:28]
the second Monday of the month has got
[46:30]
like if the building is already packed
[46:33]
out. That's the my only concern is that
[46:35]
we'll just be like that's the Tuesday.
[46:39]
>> Yeah. Oh, no. The the Monday rather.
[46:43]
Um,
[46:44]
>> I can only see right now once we stop
[46:46]
the meeting, I can check the other town.
[46:49]
I can see the town of Wley doesn't have
[46:51]
because there's two accounts. I can't
[46:53]
see one of them.
[46:54]
>> Okay.
[46:55]
>> Cuz I don't want to lose this meeting.
[46:57]
>> My only concern is that the building
[46:59]
will be full and we'll have to uh pick another another
[47:06]
Monday, you know, the first or third or
[47:09]
something like that. But let let's um
[47:12]
Let me let me work on that. Let me just
[47:14]
confirm the second
[47:16]
um second Monday in February
[47:21]
are there will be meeting space
[47:24]
available for us. But other than that,
[47:26]
so let's just plan ahead.
[47:28]
>> Sounds good.
[47:30]
And then the last thing we were going to
[47:32]
talk about here, I I want to, you know,
[47:34]
this this group occasionally gets asked
[47:37]
for an opinion about
[47:42]
rules as they apply to farms in town,
[47:45]
how farms inter interface with the rest
[47:47]
of the town government and the town. And
[47:51]
so I thought it would be kind of smart
[47:52]
to sort of look at things like what what
[47:56]
let's let's you know we all kind of
[47:58]
think we know what the right to farm
[48:00]
bylaw is but let's really look at it.
[48:02]
Let's read it, you know, and I think
[48:04]
that's going to happen, you know, with
[48:06]
as we kind of explore the the sign that
[48:09]
we're going to have made that Dave's
[48:10]
made. Um, and there are, you know,
[48:14]
zoning rules for retail farms that kind
[48:18]
of interrupt the normal zoning rules in
[48:22]
town. And I think everybody knows a
[48:25]
little bit about it and Mike is on the
[48:27]
plan the uh planning board and so has a
[48:30]
front row seat for for any conversations
[48:33]
about that kind of thing. So, what do
[48:35]
you what do you know about it? Um, so
[48:37]
there's been no formal complaining, but
[48:41]
there's been rumblings
[48:44]
>> um of the former 5J Creamy, which is now
[48:48]
Simmers, that basically since they've
[48:51]
opened, every year they have continued
[48:54]
to scale down to where now they have no
[48:57]
produce. It's just food. Um
[49:01]
it's a it's not a gray area, but it's um
[49:06]
can be a little confusing
[49:09]
because they are technically a farm
[49:11]
stand, which gives you a lot of leeway.
[49:16]
Um,
[49:18]
but you can't, you know, sell furniture,
[49:20]
you know,
[49:21]
>> and you're supposed to be selling your
[49:23]
products, but no one, the rules have
[49:25]
never stated
[49:27]
>> that you you can only sell what you grow
[49:30]
cuz that's not reasonable.
[49:31]
>> Um, you know, like if a farmer grows
[49:34]
whatever sweet corn and tomatoes, he's
[49:36]
gonna buy peppers from his neighbor,
[49:38]
etc., etc. Yeah. Um, so I think
[49:43]
apparently they have been u Brand was
[49:46]
going to send me a letter that was sent
[49:48]
to Dimmerskis about this a year or so
[49:52]
before I was on the planning work. So a
[49:54]
year or so ago um
[49:56]
>> and it was sent by the way planning
[49:58]
>> I believe so. Yeah. I didn't get the
[50:00]
email so I'm not totally positive. Um
[50:04]
but again there's been no formal
[50:06]
complaint.
[50:08]
the planning board does have some
[50:11]
obligation to look out for these things
[50:13]
in town. Um,
[50:16]
>> yeah,
[50:17]
>> my quick opinion on it is that if they
[50:21]
showed any sign of just making an
[50:24]
attempt, it would probably just go away.
[50:26]
>> Um, I don't think anyone wants to see
[50:28]
them get forced out or anything like
[50:30]
that. It's more of, you know, like when
[50:32]
Jam first started there were pumpkins
[50:35]
and mums and, you know,
[50:36]
>> pick your own strawberries,
[50:38]
>> right? So, even if 90% of what they were
[50:41]
doing was selling hamburgers and hot
[50:43]
dogs, they put on a good show. And I
[50:45]
think that's
[50:46]
>> Yeah. I mean, they turned a lot of edge
[50:48]
through there, too.
[50:49]
>> Yeah. Yeah. Yeah.
[50:50]
>> So,
[50:52]
um, that's kind of where it stands now.
[50:55]
Um,
[50:57]
I think the planning board is kind of
[50:59]
looking for the egg um
[51:02]
to advise, which is what we're kind of
[51:04]
here for, right?
[51:05]
>> Yeah.
[51:05]
>> To not just advise the selectman, but to
[51:08]
advise any other board in town.
[51:10]
>> Yeah. Right. Right. Um,
[51:14]
do you know if the weight bylaws that
[51:17]
allow so basically farm stands if you're
[51:20]
selling your own stuff, farm stands can
[51:22]
kind of work out of a residential area.
[51:25]
>> Correct.
[51:26]
>> That's sort of
[51:27]
>> a res I think it's zoned a residential,
[51:29]
right?
[51:30]
>> Yeah. A redstone. So,
[51:33]
um, and then it the lines get a little
[51:36]
cloudy around how much of the stuff is
[51:39]
your home, too, right?
[51:41]
>> Yeah. I think it's supposed to be the
[51:43]
primary
[51:45]
some type of wording
[51:47]
>> 50%.
[51:48]
>> Yeah.
[51:48]
>> My my understanding was that it was like
[51:51]
it had to be half.
[51:52]
>> I don't know if And then it was like,
[51:54]
well, half in dollars, half in volume. I
[51:57]
think you kind of have to just
[51:58]
>> I don't think it's I don't think it's
[52:00]
anything anyone is really trying to like
[52:03]
No one's going to go in there and
[52:06]
nail that number right now, you know?
[52:08]
So, I think it's
[52:10]
>> Yeah.
[52:11]
>> It was a it's it's a loose
[52:15]
loosely enforced term, you know. I don't
[52:18]
really know how else to describe it.
[52:19]
>> Yeah. Right. Right. It's um
[52:23]
self uh self enforcing or something. So,
[52:27]
>> right. So, just regulating.
[52:29]
>> Yeah. Self-regulating self, you know,
[52:31]
just it's not in the honor system, but
[52:34]
it's it's just
[52:37]
>> Yeah. I think if you're selling
[52:39]
vegetables and you're a farm, I mean,
[52:40]
you're or you're selling milk and you
[52:42]
milk cows, I mean, if you put two and
[52:44]
two together, it's pretty simple.
[52:46]
>> Yeah. I mean, you know what I was kind
[52:48]
of thinking about it is like I think
[52:50]
maybe when some of these rules were
[52:52]
created these these exceptions to let
[52:55]
you know things were kind of a little
[52:57]
bit different. It's not like this
[53:00]
>> family grows plenty of
[53:03]
>> vegetables. It's just not there
[53:06]
>> and it's not stuff that would lend
[53:07]
itself to be sold
[53:09]
>> to retail farms. Correct. You know%
[53:12]
>> um so it is a farm family. They're
[53:14]
selling mostly ice cream which is a farm
[53:18]
product, right? I mean,
[53:19]
>> you know, they don't have milk built the
[53:21]
cows themselves. But
[53:23]
>> yeah,
[53:23]
>> you know, I mean, it it's not like,
[53:28]
you know, someone who wasn't farming
[53:30]
opened an ice cream place, right,
[53:32]
>> and
[53:34]
was going to have sell vegetables that
[53:36]
they bought from area farms and then
[53:37]
kind of never did that part and really
[53:39]
only just had the ice cream place. This
[53:41]
is a family that grows 800 acres of of
[53:45]
Yeah. Yeah.
[53:46]
>> And um
[53:47]
>> but it's basically the problem with it
[53:50]
is that they're basically running a
[53:51]
restaurant saying it's a farm stand.
[53:53]
>> That's the problem.
[53:55]
>> And and then Well, that's actually not
[53:57]
the problem. The problem is that they're
[53:58]
in a they're doing this in a place
[54:00]
that's owned properly for that. If it
[54:03]
was commercial, no problem.
[54:05]
>> Well, they have a sign out there
[54:07]
advertising Barnes,
[54:09]
>> right?
[54:10]
if I should bring in back
[54:13]
>> and I think some of the other issues and
[54:16]
I don't have this is again just an
[54:19]
opinion. It seems to me that when 5J
[54:24]
Creamy opened there
[54:27]
no one really seems to know whether that
[54:29]
was even done legally or you know what I
[54:31]
mean? I think it was kind of just done
[54:34]
and forgiveness was asked after. So is
[54:36]
there something grandfathered in? is
[54:38]
there and there's no none of that is
[54:41]
spelled right out
[54:42]
>> in plain English for us to know you know
[54:45]
and then simmers buying something it's
[54:48]
not like they started it so that adds to
[54:51]
the confusion
[54:53]
>> um and I think what the planning board
[54:55]
is kind of asking from us is should the
[54:59]
regulation be changed should it you know
[55:02]
>> well that yeah right that's kind of a
[55:07]
funny one would be, you know,
[55:10]
>> what is what is at stake like them
[55:12]
paying more for the taxes of the land
[55:15]
that it's on?
[55:16]
>> No, they would. So, I mean, if they're basically in violation, they
[55:19]
would be shut they would be ordered to
[55:21]
shut down
[55:21]
>> shut down because it is specific zone is
[55:25]
not for
[55:26]
>> because they're not selling any good.
[55:29]
>> Or could they be uh could the land be
[55:33]
>> commercial for them? Because I think a
[55:34]
lot of people would miss that place in
[55:37]
town.
[55:38]
>> 100%. Yeah. I That's why I think like if
[55:41]
they just make an attempt, it's just the
[55:44]
problem's just going to wash out.
[55:45]
>> Yeah. Going to go away. But, you know,
[55:47]
they have a spot right next to where the
[55:49]
ice cream window is that was set up. You
[55:52]
know, when it first became simmers,
[55:55]
young Teddy was selling vegetables
[55:57]
there. There was stuff in there,
[55:59]
>> right?
[55:59]
>> And so, I think that just
[56:01]
>> does someone talk to them about this?
[56:03]
Yes, they've been
[56:05]
Yeah. and said that, you know, it was
[56:06]
going to get remedied and
[56:08]
>> so,
[56:09]
>> but you also can't just snap your, you
[56:11]
know, Sure.
[56:12]
>> You know, maybe this spring all of a
[56:14]
sudden there's going to be a whole bunch
[56:15]
of stuff there that just needed to get
[56:17]
organized. I have no idea.
[56:19]
>> Um, but
[56:20]
>> cuz Teddy has over his stand and
[56:22]
suddenly he's got the the flowers and
[56:24]
>> Yep.
[56:25]
>> and all that.
[56:26]
>> Yep. Exactly.
[56:27]
>> Right.
[56:29]
>> They want to do it. It could be done.
[56:31]
>> Yeah. would and even if it's just a
[56:33]
quarter of what he's doing over there,
[56:35]
you could
[56:37]
>> like his farm stand over there is a
[56:39]
perfect example of what is supposed to
[56:42]
be going on.
[56:43]
>> You know, he sells ice cream and he
[56:45]
sells Polish food, but he sells flowers
[56:47]
and all kinds of vegetables there.
[56:50]
>> Yeah. Exactly. Yep.
[56:52]
>> Right. Right. Right.
[56:52]
>> Yeah.
[56:53]
Yeah. I mean, I think when they
[56:54]
kind of made the exception, the the
[56:57]
image was all these small farm families
[57:01]
would sell
[57:03]
whatever they grew on the side of the
[57:05]
road. You know, it was like there used
[57:06]
to be signs of, you know, Lennox had
[57:08]
beets, you know, myis had potatoes, you
[57:10]
know,
[57:12]
>> like uh, you know, John John or uh Yeah.
[57:15]
John Bashesky's doing. He put up
[57:17]
>> the roadside. Yeah.
[57:18]
>> You know,
[57:19]
>> the Home Depot shed and fill the corner.
[57:21]
>> Exactly. He's called it.
[57:22]
>> Yeah. Yeah. Yeah,
[57:24]
>> that's exactly right. And that that's
[57:26]
was the intention of the I think the
[57:28]
that was the vision when
[57:30]
>> right
[57:31]
>> of how what it would look like, you
[57:33]
know, but agriculture has changed. There
[57:35]
aren't as many farms, people specialize
[57:38]
and
[57:39]
>> y
[57:40]
>> um I've also seen an increase in
[57:42]
non-farmers
[57:44]
opening farm stands and buying in
[57:47]
everything. Okay. You provide stuff to a
[57:50]
lot of different farm stands that are
[57:52]
non-farmers that are just buying
[57:53]
everything in just to resell. I just not
[57:56]
in weight, but I'm curious how their
[57:59]
zoning deals with that. You know,
[58:02]
technically they're a farm stand, but
[58:04]
they don't grow any of it themselves.
[58:07]
So, they're more like a gross grosser or
[58:12]
you know, I don't know. I don't know how
[58:14]
they retail store.
[58:15]
>> Yeah.
[58:17]
I know that's for a different
[58:19]
conversation, but it's interesting.
[58:21]
>> Yeah. Right.
[58:22]
>> We need it.
[58:25]
>> I think for the moment send them kind of
[58:28]
a reminder that yet the new year is
[58:31]
coming and what what are what are your
[58:34]
plans or or being or concerned about
[58:37]
this
[58:39]
>> or I'm think notified in writing. I
[58:42]
think it's a good idea.
[58:43]
>> I think the planning board has
[58:44]
communicated though.
[58:46]
>> Yeah. I I believe let me just look at
[58:48]
Mike.
[58:49]
>> I think all I wanted Mike to discuss
[58:52]
this only so that we were aware of the
[58:57]
issue
[58:58]
>> I guess and to kind of get our minds
[59:00]
around what the rules are.
[59:04]
Um
[59:05]
I think what has happened is that the
[59:08]
nature of farms and agriculture has
[59:11]
changed since some of these exceptions
[59:14]
were made. And I think they're, you
[59:16]
know, this is a farming family.
[59:20]
Yeah. They should they should put on a
[59:22]
retail show there. Um
[59:25]
and uh make sure they take a lot of
[59:27]
pictures.
[59:28]
Yeah. So they were uh they were
[59:33]
given a letter in the 4th of January
[59:36]
2024 from the plan from the Wavely
[59:39]
Planning Board basically saying kind of
[59:42]
reviewing the rules. I do have it here.
[59:45]
And it's 20. They have to grow 25% of
[59:47]
what they sell and then 50% of the
[59:49]
remaining has to come from Massachusetts
[59:51]
farms. Again, I think it's a pretty
[59:53]
loose like no one's going to check any
[59:56]
of this. It's more of
[59:58]
>> Yeah.
[59:59]
>> You know,
[59:59]
>> it's more of the display really.
[1:00:01]
>> Yeah.
[1:00:01]
I mean, yeah. You're making an
[1:00:03]
attempt to Yeah. You could argue like
[1:00:06]
you said, Doug, like it's ice cream, you
[1:00:08]
know, it's hamburgers, I grow beef, it's
[1:00:10]
hot dog, you know, everything comes from
[1:00:12]
somewhere. But again, that was not like
[1:00:14]
the vision.
[1:00:15]
>> Yeah.
[1:00:15]
>> Of the
[1:00:16]
>> some of it too is the watering down of
[1:00:19]
like what is a farm stand, you know? Is
[1:00:21]
a farm stand just hamburgers and hot
[1:00:24]
dogs or is it produce that's grown in
[1:00:27]
the local area? You know, I mean
[1:00:30]
>> I mean in a way that road
[1:00:33]
I mean does weight need another retail
[1:00:36]
farm? Sure. Yeah. There's lots.
[1:00:39]
>> Yeah. It's just it's kind of like
[1:00:41]
>> the other ones around are probably glad
[1:00:42]
that they're you know people come for
[1:00:45]
the ocean come somewhere else for the
[1:00:47]
sweet corn on the way home you know um
[1:00:51]
>> you know that's that's the other part of
[1:00:52]
it it's not you know it's not Lunenburg
[1:00:56]
or you know it's not Malboro where
[1:00:59]
there's 40,000 people
[1:01:00]
>> right yeah
[1:01:02]
>> right
[1:01:03]
>> so it would be a shame to lose that if
[1:01:05]
it was just a zoning issue
[1:01:08]
I think a lot of people to utilize that
[1:01:11]
ice cream stand.
[1:01:13]
>> Yeah. And I think that the idea is to to
[1:01:15]
not have that happen like
[1:01:17]
>> right nobody wants
[1:01:18]
>> right everybody wants it to exist. It
[1:01:21]
has to just exist within the framework
[1:01:23]
and the rules that are out there. And
[1:01:27]
>> um so we have a planning board meeting
[1:01:29]
at the end of this month. We haven't
[1:01:31]
discussed this a lot because we've been
[1:01:33]
dealing with the best and everything um
[1:01:37]
the battery storage stuff. So we are
[1:01:39]
going to discuss it. That's the plan.
[1:01:41]
>> Mhm.
[1:01:41]
>> Um and then Brandt may want to present
[1:01:45]
something to the adcom on our next
[1:01:47]
meeting next month.
[1:01:49]
>> Um with kind of, you know, what does
[1:01:52]
what do what does the planning board
[1:01:54]
actually want from a comp?
[1:01:57]
>> Yeah.
[1:01:57]
>> You know,
[1:01:58]
>> are they ready for us to actually answer
[1:02:01]
particular questions?
[1:02:02]
>> Right. So, I brought it up tonight so
[1:02:04]
that everybody can kind of just ponder
[1:02:06]
on it and
[1:02:08]
>> um and this is a good example of what
[1:02:11]
the acom does in town. You know, we may
[1:02:15]
be able to steer, you know, u the the
[1:02:20]
planning board to accommodate farm
[1:02:23]
stands with different language,
[1:02:26]
>> you know, and participating in that is why it's good to have an agar.
[1:02:31]
>> Great. So
[1:02:32]
>> yeah. So hopefully next meeting we will
[1:02:34]
have like I'll be able to come in with
[1:02:37]
something printed out of the exact part
[1:02:39]
of the bylaw that we need to be
[1:02:41]
concerned with because as you can
[1:02:43]
imagine it's written in
[1:02:45]
>> practical gibberish.
[1:02:49]
» Yeah. We need to like pull out what what
[1:02:51]
actually matters to what we're talking
[1:02:53]
about. That's
[1:02:54]
>> Yeah.
[1:02:55]
>> Then I'm not I haven't been doing this
[1:02:56]
long enough to
[1:02:59]
>> Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. I'm very curious as to
[1:03:02]
when whenever the whatever the language
[1:03:04]
is, whenever it was adopted,
[1:03:06]
>> you know, how how far back are we
[1:03:08]
talking?
[1:03:09]
>> Yeah.
[1:03:10]
um
[1:03:12]
>> who's the enforcer of say they didn't
[1:03:15]
make any changes and they just kind of
[1:03:17]
kept on doing what they're doing and
[1:03:19]
>> so if their full complaint
[1:03:21]
>> if a um like anyone could make a formal
[1:03:25]
complaint
[1:03:26]
>> anyone in town
[1:03:26]
>> the the building inspector would then
[1:03:30]
>> go and shut them down basically I see
[1:03:33]
>> make it official
[1:03:34]
>> y
[1:03:35]
>> okay
[1:03:38]
have to get permits
[1:03:39]
Right. From the town and kind of why
[1:03:43]
would anybody make a complaint?
[1:03:46]
>> Yeah, that's there hasn't been a Well,
[1:03:48]
like
[1:03:48]
>> you said there's some rumbling or
[1:03:50]
something.
[1:03:50]
>> Yeah, there's apparently there was some
[1:03:52]
I think there was a select board member
[1:03:54]
or something along those lines. Someone
[1:03:56]
a town official
[1:03:57]
>> doesn't eat ice cream drove by and doing
[1:04:01]
business.
[1:04:01]
>> Yeah. Well, I just think it was more
[1:04:03]
like, you know, hey, I don't see
[1:04:04]
anything there anymore. Like what's
[1:04:06]
going on? Well, I mean,
[1:04:08]
>> and there is some like, you know, like
[1:04:09]
the planning board, like you have a
[1:04:11]
moral obligation to
[1:04:14]
enforce the laws that you came up with.
[1:04:18]
>> I think that's the way it should be.
[1:04:20]
>> Right. Right.
[1:04:21]
>> Right. Not ignore the elephant in the
[1:04:23]
room.
[1:04:24]
>> Exactly. And it's that's I think it was
[1:04:27]
again like I've only been on the plane
[1:04:29]
board since the summer. So, but I
[1:04:31]
believe it's been tried they tried to
[1:04:33]
deal with this already a couple times
[1:04:37]
behind the behind closed doors or under
[1:04:39]
the radar whatever and it hasn't seemed
[1:04:42]
to get anywhere yet. So,
[1:04:43]
>> right this in general or that specific
[1:04:45]
>> this this problem.
[1:04:47]
>> Yeah,
[1:04:52]
» right. Yeah. Tough one.
[1:04:54]
>> Yeah.
[1:04:57]
>> Well, it is what it is, you know. It is.
[1:05:00]
Yeah. And so
[1:05:04]
they
[1:05:06]
take steps to remedy it or not, right?
[1:05:09]
It's that simple.
[1:05:10]
>> Yeah.
[1:05:11]
>> Mike, do you know if they responded to
[1:05:13]
that letter at all? I don't believe they
[1:05:15]
did.
[1:05:16]
>> No. Well, that's
[1:05:17]
>> No, I
[1:05:19]
sort of thing.
[1:05:20]
>> Yeah.
[1:05:21]
None of them live in way.
[1:05:27]
Yeah.
[1:05:31]
All right. Well, I guess we should Yeah,
[1:05:34]
we'll just continue the discussion next
[1:05:36]
month and
[1:05:38]
take it from there. Um, all right. Well,
[1:05:40]
I guess unless we had anything else.
[1:05:43]
>> Uh, the ethics.
[1:05:45]
>> Yes.
[1:05:47]
>> Was it ethics, right?
[1:05:48]
>> I think it was ethics.
[1:05:50]
>> Yes. So, did you all get an email?
[1:05:52]
>> Yes.
[1:05:53]
>> Okay. I thought I got an email because
[1:05:55]
of the garden committee.
[1:05:58]
>> You may have.
[1:05:59]
>> Yeah.
[1:06:00]
>> But my understanding is that I'm still
[1:06:02]
covered under the one that I did last
[1:06:05]
year.
[1:06:06]
>> One of them take you have to update it
[1:06:09]
every every year. It'll take you 10
[1:06:11]
minutes.
[1:06:12]
>> Okay. The one I keep getting email says
[1:06:14]
it'll take an hour, which is fine.
[1:06:16]
>> Well, that's the one you have to do
[1:06:17]
every two years.
[1:06:18]
>> Yeah. But is that for but does that
[1:06:20]
cover me for every committee or is that
[1:06:22]
I do one for each?
[1:06:24]
>> It looked like the same thing.
[1:06:27]
>> I think once you create your account
[1:06:31]
>> if you
[1:06:33]
are get on another committee and you're
[1:06:36]
appointed it would it should
[1:06:37]
automatically just exempt you think if
[1:06:40]
you're
[1:06:40]
>> updated. Mine wasn't doing
[1:06:42]
>> try to get into my account and look at
[1:06:44]
it.
[1:06:44]
>> Yeah, I had to reset my password. Yeah,
[1:06:47]
that's what I want to hear.
[1:06:50]
>> I want to say I
[1:06:52]
>> Oh, yeah. So, um, if you need help
[1:06:54]
complying with that ethics stuff, I'm
[1:06:56]
sure you'll come in.
[1:06:57]
>> This is the conflict of interest.
[1:06:59]
>> Yeah. Yes.
[1:07:00]
>> Okay. So, I do I did get an email saying
[1:07:03]
you need it. So, it must be the
[1:07:05]
10-minute one. I don't think I ever did
[1:07:06]
a 10-minute one, to be honest. So,
[1:07:08]
>> Well, because you can do it in like 10
[1:07:10]
seconds if you
[1:07:11]
>> Oh, okay.
[1:07:13]
>> Yeah. Yeah, I'll try to
[1:07:15]
>> I'll take you 10 minutes to read it.
[1:07:18]
It'll take you 10 seconds to do it.
[1:07:21]
It's all pretty straightforward.
[1:07:23]
>> Yeah, I mean it's not a it might be
[1:07:26]
worth 10 minutes of your time. Not a bad
[1:07:28]
thing to review, but um All right. Well,
[1:07:32]
I guess I'll move to ajourn. Move to
[1:07:34]
adjourn. All right. At 8 or whatever it
[1:07:38]
is
[1:07:38]
>> 71. Perfect. Right.
[1:07:43]
All right.
