[39:27] had some interest of people touring which he said has been really good um

[40:04] designated like here where the trail is going mentions of where the trails may

[40:11] be going to go but obviously there's still some gaps that need fil at this

[40:19] time yeah and talking about the Strategic plans in the

[40:24] letter from the gateway to theic communities and everyone want a trail um

[40:29] the Gateway wasn't they don't want to just draw a line on a map and just say

[40:35] he it's good that you brought that up Danny the nobody wants to put down a

[40:40] line and say Here's Where the trail trail is because there's a lot of

[40:45] negotiations with Farmers yet to happen and could

[40:50] move you don't want to say what we're

[40:55] doing but I took away from it to was um groundwell is kind of like a manager so

[41:00] they'll do the middleman stuff of working with the land owners and

[41:03] everything but then what they ask for from The Villages and the townships and

[41:07] even the school district is public indication that we are in favor of this

[41:13] um because that really helps them as an organization Focus their efforts and

[41:17] they can see oh we've got a whole bunch of Municipal boards here saying we're

[41:21] all interested in the same thing so we're going to focus on it um so I know

[41:27] that we're planning on the Strategic plan thing as well but um I think I

[41:32] talked to Peter right after the meeting I said if there was something that you

[41:35] know we could get the school board to sign on to as well as the townships and

[41:39] The Villages here um that would just be a really big indication it really opens

[41:44] it up for ground swell understand and just let them do the work then but know

[41:49] that they've got the support good helps them with grants yeah I think

[41:56] is a key a key component of Grants because

[42:02] yeah you just gave your Economic Development Committee report thank you

[42:44] at and the main summary report is that um there was additional funds found that

[42:54] can help with construction of the bridge that will start uh potentially this year

[42:59] if they're awarded and if that's the case the bridge uh connecting socket D

[43:04] County uh would be completed by end of 2026 that would move up the timeline

[43:10] about a year based on the tap Grant that's currently awarded for that work

[43:14] and if that other funding is awarded uh then the tap grant money would be

[43:22] returned also in attendance was a potential candidate

[43:30] um for D County Executive her name was Melissa aard and

[43:38] she is generally heavily in favor and wanting to work to get the trail

[43:44] connected between uh Sock City maon Mani Black Earth and Cross

[43:52] Plains and I forget when the next

[43:57] meeting is I apologize Tyler was Melissa the one for the position or was it the

[44:02] fellow with her he was he was running for state

[44:06] senate he's running un opposed it right as of right now

[44:13] than is that everything Tyler you're

[44:36] um so we last met on April 16th um we heard the results of the

[44:41] board survey from the ncls consultant um and we had a discussion of those results

[44:48] and then we finalized the public survey for the Strategic plan which is open

[44:52] right now you should have all gotten your email

[44:57] um we approved the social media policy and reviewed procedures for an upcoming

[45:04] team specific Instagram account so um that is something that our team

[45:08] volunteers were very passionate about so um we wanted to have some plans and

[45:14] procedures in place so that went [Music]

[45:18] as we had 58 people came that came to the Taylor Swift party on the

[45:25] 19th um so it was it was a lot of people yeah it we had it really bumping in

[45:32] here um and a lot of age range from like two to I

[45:39] would what did you say were you here M I was not here I didn't know about it he

[45:44] didn't have a Grace one he

[45:48] couldn't and then our summer Library program starts on June 1st the theme for

[45:54] this year is Adventure awaits at your library so we'll be doing a lot of like

[45:58] Adventure and outdoorsy te uh programming we are also partnering with

[46:05] American Players Theater to offer a limited number of free ticket vouchers

[46:10] um and that will be starting on May 16th um they'll be available for checkout so

[46:16] um we imagine that they'll go fast so we haven't been advertising yet so

[46:22] much um our strategic plan as I said is um under way we've got the public survey

[46:28] out now that is open until May 31st um and then I spent a lot of last

[46:35] week in Stephen's point at the Wisconsin Association for public libraries

[46:39] conference where I presented and introduced one of the keynote speakers

[46:45] so very very busy time for me um and I am glad to be

[46:51] there um and our next meeting is May 21st perfect thank

[46:58] you um president's report um well I attended and spoke at

[47:05] my very kind of my first function um April 27th Gary harup and I both spoke

[47:10] at the new heights The Grove grand opening that went well it was well

[47:14] attended very it was a nice speech I saw on yes video oh well yeah it was it was

[47:19] okay it was very it was nice you did a good job um I did the library consultant

[47:24] interview with the Sweeney group so get that done and then I've been working on

[47:29] the Octagon closing and then working on committee

[47:32] assignments busy month but kind of productive somewhat more to come okay

[47:40] Public Works director report or Public Works committee you want to do it as a

[47:45] joint kind of thing here Mr mat I'll I will have something to say

[47:50] afterwards okay okay um uh we have some new meter installs

[47:56] with some new housing uh one of the houses that was put in has had some

[48:00] issues on their lot as far as water stuff like that so there was kind of

[48:06] some involvement from myself um on that is that a new house it's up yeah up on

[48:12] Center Street Thors Port area oh okay so uh snow POA equipment is all washed up

[48:18] put away for the season uh Kurt invited Danny and myself along with Brian Hood

[48:24] there was a long discussion about the solar metering going on out at Wisconsin

[48:28] Heights um so just as far as the meter reading um billing and such like that

[48:34] going on so that was a good conversation to get us up to speed on how things are

[48:38] going to work with that far as the filling and the metering reading portion

[48:42] of it um less locates with fiber drops um Communications going to houses well

[48:49] one as you guys probably seen all the piping laying in the park um that's

[48:53] pulled apart right now uh took the motor the electric motor to get looked at um

[48:58] just as a maintenance type thing uh the company took the pump with them to have

[49:03] that examined um a lot of the components in that wellhouse were fairly new from

[49:08] 2016 so there's shouldn't be too many issues the biggest thing is tomorrow

[49:13] we'll televis it to see what the entire well casing and everything looks like

[49:18] our four had been down for a while for some repairs got that picked up today um

[49:27] type thing on another piece of equipment umer reads quite a few final

[51:13] they always parked not the brand new lot I just have uh wat came down the stop

[51:21] the game and everybody moved their car out of the lot so I'm assuming the back

[54:13] getting the Transformer heated up and I talked to them the other day

[54:18] and they will they need to take an outage on

[54:22] basically the whole town to it up and how long you don't know that

[54:32] right can you do it in the middle of the night we would plan it at probably 3:00

[54:36] in the morning okay but have better a it with that factory

[54:44] that we talked about we think we can get that up and going

[54:49] by and it's needed we think if we would do it at 3:00 in the morning but

[54:54] transfer some of we can hopefully get almost all the load

[54:59] um so we can we maybe have to send out like notifications or something to kind

[55:04] of like don't use anything kind of but so I'm working with the L trying to see

[55:10] what they can handle you know they know what we can handle for them I'm trying

[55:14] to figure out they can handle with us and so yeah like I said we would do it

[55:21] at like an off peak hour 3:00 in the morning and I think that when we do the

[55:25] date that's going to mean more than just a little verb in the newsletter that's

[55:35] a multi because they had contacted me wondering what we can handle

[56:37] maintenance only we there's no money to spend I would like to know what kind of

[56:41] money do have to spend obviously we need

[56:46] to more construction we do the more we can put back into our rate so I'd like

[56:52] to kind of have a budget set what do you want to do

[56:59] is a limit but you don't have money right now the sub station's kind of go

[57:04] the substation took everything understand so kind of know if what kind

[57:10] of flex spending I have because then there's always projects that need to be

[57:13] done we can the substation didn't take crap go and all paid for right

[57:18] substation what what is are we're so tight on budget right now that there's

[57:24] not extra money for projects we're just paying

[57:28] them so we need to we need to re-evaluate our utility like I've been

[57:33] asking for with danic or whoever so we know the condition we're in and what we

[57:38] have to spend because we can't answer that so we need to get

[57:46] that this respons that's this board's responsibility to get that to

[57:52] correct we do that we talk about it nothing's been done not not for over a

[57:59] year year and a half I thought there was a

[58:05] mo we talked about it I don't know if it was okay I'm I don't I don't know if we

[58:10] actually approved not going to say you know I'm excited I know we discussed it
