[0:39] now in session. You have any business before this board, please come forward
[0:43] and you'll be heard. >> Feel free. Our dear heavenly father, we
[0:48] come this hour in the evening to give thanks for the many blessings that have
[0:51] restored unto us. We thank you for the privilege. We thank you for the for
[0:56] being here today. We thank you for continued blessing up. We pray that
[1:01] everything we do and say will be in your name. It is in Jesus Christ's name we
[1:05] pray. Amen. >> Plenty.
[1:11] » Good afternoon. >> How are y'all?
[1:13] » I'm good. >> Still have a couple things. I'll make
[1:15] that short sweet tonight.
[1:21] I have submitted request for Chris Collins for the street improvement
[1:25] project. That is all the time we right now we have scheduled. So this is the
[1:29] last pair request for him. >> I did put that on the consent agenda.
[1:34] » That's okay. That's okay. Uh the two things I do want to talk to you about
[1:39] tonight is two bids this past Friday uh or last Thursday actually for the
[1:45] Jefferson Circle sewer rehab project and for the pay and data sewer rehab
[1:50] project. Both those projects were budgeted at the last uh fiscal year
[1:54] session. The uh [clears throat] for both of them they did come under budget for
[1:58] the Egyptian uh circle sewer rehab. We uh we had estimated about 63,000. Low
[2:05] bid was Andy construction services 40 roughly 4142,000.
[2:10] We did our research contacts to see what kind of material they were using is
[2:15] preapproved material. So my recommendation for this project
[2:24] name was >> Andy Construction Services.
[2:27] » Okay. Make a motion to approve. Motion by Gary
[2:32] » second with Ted. All those in favor? >> Then the other one was a F Davis sewer
[2:38] rehab project you know last few years about six years ago or so we piped that
[2:44] ditch in there and we also done work in that storm water pumping station but it
[2:49] was brought to our attention last year that some of that sewer is collapsing.
[2:52] It's full of roots and so it be replaced. So we had an estimated around
[2:56] $80,000. uh budget was $80,000 and a construction is low bid at $75,000.
[3:05] So has done a lot of work city.
[3:11] » So move >> motion by Danny, second by Zena. All
[3:16] those in favor.
[3:19] » I do want to give you a couple updates since we have some things going on since
[3:22] the last board meeting. The street proving project has kicked off asphalt.
[3:26] They've been milling on dear stuff college. They started paying back today.
[3:32] They're continue to pass as overlay those three streets
[3:38] keep on rest >> part of that contract uh also covers
[3:43] [clears throat] cleanup. Right. >> Correct.
[3:44] » Okay. Thank you. >> Talk to them about that. They uh the
[3:48] asphalt tur long enough
[3:53] shut
[3:57] and then the sidewall project contractor has to move back in today. They have
[4:01] been installing the two inlets over between Bay and David
[4:06] between Matthew Williams house and Clint Woods house. They're continue moving
[4:10] forward towards Hey Joe's putting sidewalk down roughly two weeks they'll
[4:15] start tearing up started
[4:30] there. >> Yes sir. So with that one we uh did two
[4:34] part six month bids and pitty curve and gutter was done by Chris Collins that is
[4:41] Daniel talk about as well the contractor has move forward they'll move towards
[4:45] cost drive to do
[4:52] » thanks appreciate it thank >> uh Dan
[4:57] » yes sir um the consent agenda is before you would need a motion and Second to
[5:02] approve unless you have questions. >> So move motion by Gary second.
[5:07] » Second by Brian. All those in favor >> I post.
[5:12] » I do not have a report and I do not have an executive session.
[5:16] » Okay. >> Uh Heather
[5:24] to action.
[5:29] Well, we take those separately because I think there's something that um involves
[5:35] park and that only is part of just that separately. Um okay.
[5:45] » Yes. >> Yeah. The alderman needs to be listed as
[5:49] not participating staying. >> Okay. So,
[5:55] » make a motion to approve. Second motion by Gary, second by Danny. All
[6:00] those in favor >> with the exception of park and you're
[6:05] recusing from >> Yes. Recusing from park.
[6:10] » Well, okay. Then we need all we have is to go to the executive session for
[6:15] » or do we need to go to executive? >> She just just a separate vote.
[6:20] » A separate vote. Okay. I didn't know. Okay.
[6:24] Make a motion to approve. the park commission.
[6:27] » Second motion by Gary, second by Danny. All those in favor?
[6:31] » Recusal by Miss. >> Okay.
[6:36] » All right. Uh, Robert,
[6:44] » what? >> Nothing.
[6:48] » You don't get one. Uh, Ted. >> Yes. Uh,
[6:52] uh, Mr. William family, the the lady Mr. Jimmy William would like to thank the
[6:57] mayor and the board of all for such a fine resolution and uh she has told me
[7:03] to tell you. Thank you very much.
[7:07] Two things I want to thank the the department heads and especially Michelle
[7:13] and Ashley for a very smooth budget session. And the other thing, uh, I
[7:17] would like to recommend that we move this meeting to five o'clock. Um, at
[7:22] least talk about it. >> Both meetings.
[7:26] » Both meetings,
[7:30] » ma'am.
[7:38] » Moving it to five. >> No, 4:30.
[7:42] » Okay. >> Five may be something that's Well, the
[7:45] reason we it's being brought up is we're asking all these department heads
[7:51] now, people to sit around 30 minutes when everybody's already done that. We
[7:55] can
[8:04] [laughter]
[8:06] I ain't gonna lie.
[8:10] » We don't >> I mean if there's no major discussion,
[8:13] I'd like to make a motion that we move the both meetings to 5:00.
[8:17] » I'll second that motion. >> Motion by Gary and a second by Danny.
[8:20] Move meetings to 5:00. Anybody have a question? This will be take takes what
[8:24] 60 days 30 days from the point of advertising
[8:29] because it's it's an ordinance and those are 30 days.
[8:32] » Motion by Gary second by Danny. Did I get a vote? All those in favor? I
[8:37] » opposed.
[8:42] Uh, anything else? Brian. >> No, sir. I'm good. Mr. Mayor,
