[6:47] only fundraiser we have all year except for

[6:50] Dunning hapless Souls into just plain giving us money at least you'd get

[7:56] okay well we did have a meeting last week and it was primarily focused around

[8:02] the developments in and around the St John's property

[8:06] um with final plan approval for the Beacon Hill development as well as some

[8:10] preliminary plans that aren't so preliminary we've been looking at them

[8:14] for over a year almost probably probably at least a year

[8:17] um so those are those are going to be going through the varying levels of the

[8:21] approval process um in a rather strict regimen over the

[8:25] next few meetings so if you have concerns questions you want to

[8:28] contribute ideas to that before their final

[8:31] um come to our next meeting last Wednesday of the month

[8:35] and that would be pretty much it you can I refer you to the minutes for any other

[8:39] information on plant Commission

[8:48] uh met on April 12th uh biggest discussion was on erosion control system

[8:55] that Lake Country Estates has with the village and the loose Scoop from the

[9:00] committee was working with the with a

[9:05] but some people from the Asheville of Lake Country Estates and somebody from

[9:08] the village but there is a underground grading system there the water comes

[9:14] across it goes across a basin with grass that should be there uh Lou said the

[9:20] thing is kind of deteriorated quite a bit and it could be maintained the water

[9:25] that comes out of there goes underground to the corner of mission and nagawica

[9:30] which then is a there's a big tube that goes down to the lake from there so uh

[9:37] Dom was Don Till's was going to ask

[9:42] as the city here if we could be centered send a crew down there just to take a

[9:46] look at that just see if there's any issues that uh Pam has or anybody from

[9:52] Deep DPW hopefully we can maybe get an agreement

[9:58] between the city and and The Village on how to maintain that because it's got to

[10:03] go into the lake but it's not getting there because it just has to be properly

[10:06] maintained and plant the grasses again and get it grated so the water can drain

[10:11] down to that pipe so I don't know if there's ever been any discussion about

[10:15] that but it seems like it's it's needed Village hasn't always been Cooperative

[10:22] in that area but it might be worth a trip over there just to see if you agree

[10:27] something needs to be done but uh

[10:33] the income through that Vision yeah

[10:40] um Lewis told there is a pipe underground that goes underneath the

[10:44] street that goes to the corner

[10:48] to hold the water so that it has a chance to filter and reports right

[11:39] last thing is on egg oiling the committee got out and I did some

[11:44] knocking on doors and got the number of people giving permission for the egg

[19:44] necessary to provide the 50 local match uh that was included in the 2023 budget

[19:51] but removed by the council from that budget approval and the council directed

[19:56] staff to come back after the permit is secured so we will be doing that and

[20:02] we'll have that as an agenda item on the next council meeting May 15th and just

[20:07] as a reminder as a um as a budget amendment that will require a super

[20:12] majority of the council for approval it will require five votes to

[20:18] um for approval and that's uh that's going to be a request for an additional

[20:22] 14 750

[20:25] to get up to the city's forty four thousand seven hundred fifty dollar

[20:30] overall local match require government any questions on that item

[20:36] when is the peer granting committee meeting

[20:42] so they meet quarterly it's the it's the Wisconsin waterways commission they meet

[20:47] quarterly um

[20:50] the exact date has not been set yet but the deadline to be on that meeting is

[20:55] June 1st and that meeting is going to be in early August and right now the DNR

[21:01] thinks it'll likely be August 8th but they've only confirmed that it'll be

[21:05] early August at this point

[21:10] and that that commission it meets at a rotating location all around the state

[21:15] and I haven't heard what location they'll be meeting at this time

[21:21] yeah I'll just I'll just say the um the permit approval that's in the packet

[21:27] explains all the items of consideration that were

[21:31] submitted as well as how they how they came to their

[21:34] um approval process I think that was helpful to have that in there to show

[21:39] what was what they what they looked at and what they you know what they

[21:42] considered so I appreciate that

[21:47] very good and then moving on the next item that I've got is an update

[21:51] regarding the know through Trucking signage uh in for downtown Delafield uh

[21:56] the mayor asked me to include an update on the agenda for this item uh we have

[22:01] the permits into the county and the state required for the installation of

[22:05] the signage we do need signs in County right-of-way and we're also looking at

[22:11] putting signage on both exit ramps from I-94 so that trucks know that they where

[22:17] they need to go when they're getting off the ramp and that they can't turn into

[22:21] downtown Delafield we heard back on Friday from the county that our permit

[22:26] is approved subject to us paying the permit fee which we'll be sending in

[22:32] this week and then we'll get the signs ordered and we expect to have them up

[22:37] shortly I have talked to police chief niron and he is

[22:43] anxious to get his uh crew news on this assignment as far as enforcement of this

[22:50] and especially enforcement up front early in the process is kind of a public

[22:56] education effort and hopefully after some initial effort the truck traffic

[23:01] will die down along with the need for any significant resources on enforcement

[23:08] so any questions on that the girl good

[23:13] and then one other thing that I want to mention it's not on the agenda is we

[23:17] also had our rating call today for our borrowing with Moody's Investment

[23:23] Services it went very well they liked what they heard a lot of

[23:29] positive comments and there's uh you know they indicated that there's

[23:33] absolutely no downward pressure at all on our rating and we expect that at a

[23:37] minimum our rating will hold it at the same rating that we're currently at

[23:43] good news good great thank you very much

[23:53] okay so today was the official posted day for the open book uh Cal Magnum the

[24:00] assessor did indicate he had a few appointments

[24:03] um I don't expect those to come to fruition

[24:06] for objection but if they do the board of review is scheduled for May 25th 2023

[24:11] at 4 pm the deadline to file the notice of intent to object is 48 hours prior to

[24:18] the meeting so if you know of anyone who is thinking about filing objection form

[24:22] they do have to at least verbally or in writing let the clerk's office know that

[24:27] they are going to be doing so that they will be in to file their objection

[24:33] we had a few last year that missed that opportunity so I just want to make sure

[24:36] we're getting it out there and then the final thing is I've been

[24:40] working on the group quarters post census the post census group quarters

[24:45] review which is the review of the population count over at St John's I

[24:49] collected all the information necessary from St John's fill out all of the

[24:55] paperwork it's in the review process um

[24:59] St John's has a unique situation regarding the youth housing and that

[25:05] they do generally have students that are there year round

[25:09] and then they also have students that attend in more of like a boarding school

[25:13] capacity where they're there for the general school terms so I'm not really

[25:16] sure how it's going to pan out and I do expect half to kind of have some

[25:19] follow-up and I will keep you all apprised to the situation as we go

[25:23] through and that is all I have unless there are

[25:25] questions
