[8:02] just because we weren't communicating. I had no idea the young lady from that was

[9:23] written down what we did this time. We made quite a bit of money. Um, we made

[9:30] $670. This is initial, not verification of all

[9:36] of the numbers with uh the city's uh treasurer.

[9:44] in cash and about $360 in credit cards.

[12:24] then her not show up and you depending on it.

[15:06] those nice police officers. So, turned out really good.

[17:59] Texas Parks and Wildlife um, grant material. And so he felt like

[18:05] that we're in good hands. So we know now to move forward who we talked to and all

[18:11] of that. Um and then he said we have not had any word on the Lowe's grants and

[18:18] that was a question. Uh Angie wrote the grant or sent sent it

[18:26] off and do we have [clears throat] access to her emails or how is that? We

[18:33] have access. Steve looked. He did not receive anything from Lowe's. We let we

[18:37] let um Frank know that. Okay, good. >> We're just kind of keeping an eye out.

[19:39] opinion on that. So I don't know where the direction is. I don't have access to

[19:45] his paperwork, but it kind of made sense to me, isn't that?

[31:24] November 7th. They're available after that. It's like we're working for for

[31:29] the Arbor Day Foundation. The earliest they ship them is November 9th. Um,

[31:34] other places you actually get the trees like in February or so. And I don't

[31:38] think that that's uh necessarily written in stone. So, I'm I'm kind of But it all

[31:45] has to do with when they're going to grow them, right? If you're getting a

[31:47] seedling, that's a certain part of growing. They're just not expecting that

[31:50] to be done in time for our event. So, I've I've reached out to a number of

[31:55] places today to see whether we've got options for for getting getting some in

[31:59] time for November 7th. Otherwise, we can figure something else out. um it just

[32:04] may not be, you know, and handing out a couple hundred. Well, it it may be we

[32:08] hand out a smaller number of big trees because big trees of course are

[32:12] available year round, >> right?

[32:14] » It's just those seedlings that it's it's a moment in time.

[32:17] » Um but uh what I kind of wanted to ask you guys was was I was I was originally

[32:24] imagining, you know, two to 300 of these seedlings. If we said 300 and we were

[32:30] going to the Arbot Dave Foundation, that that comes in a little under 500 bucks.

[32:36] I'm talking to him about the possibility because heck, I'll I'll go drive and

[32:39] pick them up. You know, they don't have to ship them assuming they're in Texas

[32:43] somewhere. Um, you know, maybe there'll be a way to get those in time. But I

[32:48] guess one of the things I wanted to ask at this meeting because I think I

[32:51] probably would need to figure this out soon is I don't know if it's a vote or

[32:55] what, but can I have a budget for trees in case we need to try to use it here

[33:00] pretty soon. Um, you know, I think I think at most it

[33:07] would be like, you know, 500 bucks. Um, but it may be zero just maybe figure out

[33:12] we got to do something else. But I don't I I was assuming that would be a vote.

[33:16] So, I wanted to throw that out there to see if if that was okay.

[34:31] kind of and we want to uh start working towards putting putting out the fuelers

[34:39] to vendors, vendors and food trucks. Um, and that's going to be a a cooperative

[34:44] thing because because we've got our system, they've got their system. We're

[34:48] going to try to reach out to everybody. Um,

[34:52] uh, I'm I I'm thinking, uh, you know, Courtney and I are kind of the this the

[34:58] subcommittee. Uh, are you guys okay with us figuring out what we're going to

[35:01] charge vendors and all that kind of stuff, or is that something we have to

[35:04] bring through? Okay. >> We all have a good good idea.

[35:08] » I saw a quorum of of not. [laughter] So, so if we if we come up with some of that

[35:13] stuff, we're just going to move forward with uh reaching out to vendors from

[35:16] from there. >> We have a pretty good idea. I mean, it's

[35:19] always in the same range anyway. >> And and as a reminder, that money that's

[35:23] going to come in is going to be split between the two of us. So, we'll we'll

[35:27] get half of it. Half of it will go to the the derby and it'll be a nice

[35:31] bargain for the vendors cuz they'll get to show up for two events worth of

[37:24] that um offer things to people who are services and such and then um HOAs and

[37:31] POAS um having tables there as well. Um so if you guys can help me get people to

[37:43] puts on that big bash and there were so many people that I'd never heard of

[37:48] before that were >> really back to school stuff.

[38:31] that we we didn't get to learn if that worked out as well as we hoped it would.

[38:36] Um, so I'm hoping to try that again this year. See if we can still get the same

[38:41] amount of we've been finding groups. So like the the roller derby girls did it

[38:46] and different large groups. There was businesses that sponsored a spot and

[38:50] different things. Um, so we're hoping to keep that plan again.
