[3:07] insurance company, I noticed everything was sitting at $1,000

[3:11] uh for both vehicles and uh property. And property especially, that's a really

[3:17] really low deductible. So, when we left there, he was going to give us like

[3:21] three quotes of uh maybe 5,000 and maybe 10,000, right? We come back with 2500 on

[3:28] the vehicles and the and the uh in the buildings and by changing it from,2500

[3:36] it basically dropped our premium six grand $6,000.

[5:54] suggest you the fire chief like that chainsaw right there, that green

[5:59] chainsaw, that is a hydraulic chainsaw. And it's

[6:03] just the coolest looking thing I've ever seen. I'd love to have it hanging my

[6:06] ball. So, somebody's going to want this stuff. So, I suggest we don't just let

[6:11] it go for scrap price, right? and may even maybe even contact the company that

[6:17] manufactured it to see uh if they want to buy some of the stuff back for parts

[33:27] water. That's your one of your main problems too. Your water's not

[33:30] circulating. So it's just kind of stagnating there. And if it's if it

[33:36] doesn't circulate, that's what makes your algae grow and stuff like that. and

[33:42] plus your heat beating down is just exacerbating the issue. So, he's going

[33:47] to get us a quote on what it'll take to put some circulation in it and do a

[33:52] different [clears throat] u chemical dispenser other than the one we got with

[33:58] the tablets. It's what all the other pools are doing. We need to kind of get

[34:01] up to speed with them. And it'll also uh keep a continuous check on the

[34:08] balance and then dispense electronically what it needs in real time. So you don't

[34:14] get back to needing stuff that allows the you know the bad stuff to get in

[34:18] there and you know take take a while to get balanced back out. So

[36:04] um public works. I said they was working hard. There was a big tree that fell out

[36:09] in somebody's yard on the other side of town that was probably a hundred years

[36:13] old. So, they got that up today. That was that was a lot of work out in

[36:20] the sea.

[36:24] Um, we've signed our uh contracts with the

[36:30] timekeeping system and the SMA. Uh, the timekeeping system, they're want

[36:36] to start training us or start the introductory call. I believe this week

[36:40] after next when we have our first meeting. So, the time piece part should

[36:44] start coming in two to three weeks. Start training on

[36:49] that. will be on schedule and then VSBA will come shortly after that. So within

[36:53] a few months we're going to have a totally

[36:56] totally updated accounting and payroll and time clock system which is going to

[36:59] just tremendously solve a lot of problems you know with

[37:05] with paper. Uh our audits will be easier hopefully

[37:10] the number of hours go down it'll be cheaper. So there's just a whole whole

[37:14] plethora of reasons to do that, but that'll be that'll be live before we

[37:22] anything else we want to discuss. >> Don't forget Saturday.

[37:28] » Yeah, that was on the announcements. So our next work session council meeting is

[37:33] August 13th at 6. The one after that is August 27th at 6. and our Anel America

[37:40] 250 celebration, if the weather holds, and keeps

[37:44] changing, and I hope it does, is July 25th at noon. Uh, vendor set up will

[37:50] start at 8 8:00

[37:56] and it'll go to 11:00. Uh, we're going to make a final decision on weather

[38:02] probably right before lunch tomorrow, I guess, is we need to probably wait that

[38:06] long. It was up to I think I saw yesterday it was 81%. Now it's like 45

[38:14] or something. So if we can get a decent scattered shower thing, we'll probably

[38:18] do it. But you know, we can't have thunderstorms and all that. That just

[38:24] could be and the vendors don't like that either. Their stuff gets wet and ruined.

[38:28] But we we'll try to make a good judgment call on whether it happens or not.

[38:33] » Hopefully it won't be any worse than it was today. It just like rain and it

[38:36] moved on. >> Yeah. And that's We can handle that. Uh

[38:40] if it does get postponed, uh it will be uh the week would be two weeks out

[38:46] because today is the following Saturday. We don't want to interfere with that.

[38:56] seeing how many people have come together to help this come together. Um

[39:01] uh we've spent pretty much the entire summer trying to put this together. Um

[39:08] it's been a lot of work. Kind of exhausting

[39:17] feel the I would say the spirit of handful coming

[39:21] together for this event. Uh we've all been very excited for this day. I mean,

[39:25] I can I can just tell you personally just building everything for this,

[39:30] designing everything for this has just been a pleasure of mine. Uh, I've never

[39:35] planned an event before. I'm I'm really a guy that I research, I design, uh, not

[39:43] this kind of stuff, but it has been a pleasure of mine to do this. And I can't

[39:48] wait to see what this committee that we've just passed can also do for the

[39:53] city. And that's been the whole point is to just get this kind of stuff kickarted

[39:57] so that we can do even more for the city. So, it doesn't stop with this

[40:02] event. you know, this this this event isn't just a oneoff. So, um, as much

[40:07] excitement that as we're having for this, as much as we're doing, don't let

[40:10] it stop with this event, right? Let's keep it going. Um, and I can't wait to

[40:17] see you there on Saturday. Uh, I know several of us are going to be there

[40:22] early in the morning and we're going to probably be there late in the night. So,

[40:26] um, hopefully I see you at some point during the day. So,

[40:30] » and I will go in and say too, people excited about Greg Burton that, you

[40:34] know, wrote that book about the history of Hansville. He's going to be speaking

[40:38] and I have that book when he first done it. And a lot of people don't really

[40:42] realize how everything came to place, you know, many many years ago. And

[40:55] open cere. Yeah. I will say that um the plan is to

[41:01] uh post the event map tonight. I have it completed. Everything for it is done.

[42:16] Dr. Vicki Carloitz for allowing uh the police department there. Um we'll use

[42:22] them as security too for that event. So that's a good thing too.
