All
[0:05]
» right, we call the meeting to order.
[0:07]
Would you please join me in the pledge
[0:09]
of allegiance?
[0:12]
>> I pledge algiance to the flag of the
[0:15]
United States of America and to the
[0:17]
republic for which it stands, one nation
[0:20]
under God, indivisible, with liberty and
[0:24]
justice for all. Amen.
[0:31]
Hi. Would you please take the role?
[0:33]
>> Mayor Greavves
[0:34]
>> here.
[0:35]
>> Councilman Coffman.
[0:38]
>> Councilman Perkins.
[0:40]
>> Councilman Dix
[0:41]
>> here.
[0:42]
Councilman Evans
[0:43]
>> here.
[0:47]
» All right. you have before you an
[0:48]
agenda. Um, under new business, we're
[0:52]
going to strike item number four because
[0:54]
of the number of voting body members. We
[0:58]
can't act on that tonight with two two
[1:01]
people gone because you will have to not
[1:03]
take part. So,
[1:06]
um, we'll just strike that, move it to
[1:08]
next month
[1:10]
or if we have a need for a special
[1:12]
meeting, we'll address it then. But I
[1:13]
mean
[1:15]
to just strike that and so everything
[1:17]
below it would just then scoot up and
[1:19]
become the proper numeric order. Other
[1:22]
than that are there any changes?
[1:27]
» Hearing none I would entertain a motion
[1:28]
to approve the agenda as amended. Moved
[1:31]
>> second moved and seconded. All in favor
[1:34]
signify by saying I.
[1:35]
>> I post same sign. Motion will carry.
[1:40]
For the purpose of discussion, I would
[1:42]
entertain a motion to approve and place
[1:44]
to record the consent agenda items.
[1:46]
>> So moved.
[1:47]
>> Second.
[1:48]
>> It's been moved and seconded. Is there
[1:49]
discussion on any consent agenda items?
[2:01]
» Was pretty straightforward this month. I
[2:04]
>> agreed.
[2:06]
>> All right. All in favor signify by
[2:08]
saying I. I
[2:09]
>> oppose. Same sign. Motion will carry.
[2:14]
Moving on to petitions, memorials,
[2:16]
proclamations, and public comment. Item
[2:18]
number one is the Wyoming community gas
[2:20]
check.
[2:22]
We have a couple of ladies in the office
[2:25]
that have worked very diligently with
[2:26]
this. And now we get to reap the
[2:29]
benefits of their hard work.
[2:35]
We appreciate the effort that they put
[2:37]
into it.
[2:39]
Let me get around since there's three of
[2:41]
you.
[2:42]
>> Feel free.
[2:45]
to stand right there.
[2:50]
» Thank you guys for your work, your
[2:51]
effort. I mean, this this doesn't go
[2:54]
unnoticed and we use it for great things
[2:56]
for the public and the youth. And thank
[2:58]
you very much. And for those of you that
[3:00]
don't know, the Wyoming Community Gas,
[3:02]
they do the work and get the member sign
[3:04]
up and Wyoming Community Gas will give
[3:06]
us kickback and And this year it's
[3:08]
$10,258.33.
[3:14]
» Historically, we've used this money for
[3:16]
things like completion of the miniature
[3:18]
golf course. Um the dog park at Daringer
[3:21]
Park.
[3:22]
>> Um
[3:22]
>> soccer nets.
[3:23]
for Lewis Park.
[3:26]
>> Um
[3:27]
>> yeah, the pickle ball court, concrete,
[3:29]
lighting, and I mean park improvements,
[3:31]
benches.
[3:33]
I mean, it's it's you don't want to say
[3:35]
it's free money because there's a lot of
[3:36]
effort that goes into getting it, but it does a lot for us and and their
[3:41]
efforts need to be commended for for
[3:43]
chasing that and getting that for us
[3:45]
because they broke the $10,000 plane two
[3:47]
or three years ago and they've held it
[3:48]
there. And this has varied from a few
[3:51]
thousand to this is about as good as
[3:53]
it's been. I mean, this is right at the
[3:55]
top mark. So, thank you for your
[3:57]
diligence and your hard work.
[4:00]
What did we earmark this one for this
[4:02]
year?
[4:02]
>> Or have we yet?
[4:03]
>> Park.
[4:05]
>> Playground equipment upgrades
[4:07]
>> and uh walkway.
[4:08]
>> Oh, yeah. The walkway convert.
[4:13]
>> Convert some of that old asphalt walkway
[4:15]
to concrete.
[4:17]
As as much as $10,000.
[4:31]
With no other agenda items, are there
[4:33]
any public comments at this time?
[4:40]
Seeing none, we'll move on to unfinished
[4:43]
business. And there is none. So, we'll
[4:45]
just shoot straight to new business.
[4:47]
Item number one is an IT contract. And
[4:50]
uh we have we have two bids
[4:55]
and
[4:57]
I don't know I'm not 100% certain that
[5:00]
maybe we did the best job or due
[5:02]
diligence in presenting the information
[5:05]
to obtain the bids because I have some thoughts that those bids are like
[5:11]
almost in two separate ball fields. It's hard to compare and contrast
[5:16]
because I maybe it's just two different
[5:18]
angles or two different thoughts, but
[5:20]
give me some opinions here, guys.
[5:22]
>> Mr. Mayor, I I uh going through all the
[5:24]
contracts and and looking detail by detail. I have four pages of
[5:30]
questions and I would suggest tonight
[5:32]
that we table this until we can get some
[5:34]
things answered. Um, again, this is
[5:37]
looking at to me, this is looking at two
[5:39]
totally different play uh playing
[5:41]
levels. And without those questions
[5:44]
answered, I'm not I personally am not
[5:46]
okay with voting the public's money on
[5:48]
an IT contract when we truly don't know
[5:51]
what we're getting in a couple of ways.
[5:53]
So I I would
[5:59]
» and having done the same thing and
[6:00]
looking things over and talking to
[6:02]
different entities and I think we need
[6:05]
some more in depth.
[6:08]
>> I think I think we have some work to do
[6:10]
on our end and then pitch it back out to
[6:12]
the the guys to give them a fair shake
[6:14]
because at this point I I think we've
[6:15]
done nothing but maybe muddy the waters
[6:17]
is my concern.
[6:18]
>> I I would agree.
[6:19]
>> So I second on Jason's motion.
[6:21]
>> Okay. It's been moved and seconded. Is
[6:23]
there any further discussion
[6:26]
hearing? None. All in favor signify by
[6:28]
saying I.
[6:29]
>> I.
[6:30]
>> Motion will carry to table it
[6:33]
with more to come.
[6:38]
Item number two is uh the condry and
[6:41]
associates agreement.
[7:13]
This 110 page document that Tabla sent
[7:16]
me makes it real easy to find. You're
[7:19]
welcome, guys.
[7:22]
» Mine was only six pages.
[7:28]
» You still get the paper.
[7:29]
>> I get a paper.
[7:31]
>> Us old guys do that that way.
[7:32]
>> Oh, is that what it is?
[7:37]
» Tabitha, what can you tell us about
[7:38]
this?
[7:40]
Or you mean just so it's just a contract
[7:43]
to update the um the wage survey that we
[7:47]
did a couple years ago so that we get PD
[7:49]
where they they are needed. That's
[7:51]
right.
[7:52]
>> Remember they were going to sergeants
[7:54]
and corporals and stuff like that. So we
[7:57]
just thought instead of trying to do it
[7:58]
ourselves go back out to where we did
[8:01]
they said that they would it it's not
[8:03]
going to cost as much like last year.
[8:05]
The last time we did it was $40,000.
[8:09]
This is just an update.
[8:11]
>> Or something.
[8:15]
» 45.
[8:16]
>> And this is it's like an update to get
[8:18]
us keep us current with current pay
[8:20]
scales and wage tables and all that
[8:22]
rather than a complete build.
[8:24]
>> I would move that we uh sign this
[8:27]
agreement and go forth with the uh wage
[8:29]
stud.
[8:32]
>> Could I before you do anything? The only
[8:35]
problem I had and Tabitha told me that
[8:37]
they do almost everything by Zoom
[8:40]
internet is if they if you ask them to
[8:43]
come out they're going to charge it to
[8:45]
come out
[8:47]
>> and I don't know where they travel to or
[8:49]
from or anything. Just so you're aware
[8:51]
>> they're from Virginia. So
[8:52]
>> So just so you're aware you ask them to
[8:54]
come out they're gonna
[8:58]
>> I think the last time you did it on
[9:00]
>> I was going to say is there any real
[9:02]
reason that we need them here? I'm just
[9:04]
telling you that if they do then they
[9:06]
have extra charges above the 145.
[9:09]
>> Well, last time we did it all zoom and
[9:12]
it was a way newer technology then it is
[9:14]
now. I mean people readily use it all
[9:17]
the time now.
[9:18]
>> You want to I I can show you how to
[9:19]
zoom. We can zoom.
[9:20]
>> I zoom a lot. I tell you I am confident
[9:23]
in that area.
[9:25]
>> We can talk about your new pedestal. I
[9:26]
want to come put in
[9:29]
>> All right.
[9:29]
>> I can do it ON MY PHONE.
[9:31]
>> WHAT?
[9:31]
>> YEAH.
[9:33]
All right.
[9:35]
>> All right. It's been moved and seconded
[9:36]
to agree with and execute signature of
[9:40]
the memorandum of agreement with with
[9:42]
Condre and Associates for the wage
[9:44]
study. All in favor signify by saying I.
[9:46]
>> I.
[9:47]
>> Oppose. Same sign. Motion will carry.
[9:50]
>> The next one looks like this. And then
[9:53]
the next one you have a uh engagement
[9:55]
letter for our fiscal year 26 audit with
[9:58]
the same organization that's been doing
[10:00]
audits for us for last several years.
[10:06]
Would entertain a motion to sign the
[10:09]
engagement letter for the fiscal year 26
[10:11]
audit.
[10:12]
>> So moved.
[10:14]
>> Okay. Second.
[10:15]
It's
[10:16]
>> been moved and seconded. Is there any
[10:17]
further discussion?
[10:20]
Uh hearing none. All in favor signify by
[10:23]
saying I.
[10:24]
>> I.
[10:25]
>> Same sign. That motion will carry.
[10:28]
And then uh we have a notice to proceed.
[10:31]
It's for the airport seal coat and
[10:33]
marking
[10:35]
um project which is just kind of finish
[10:39]
up with some loose ends and stuff out at
[10:40]
the airport. So I would entertain a
[10:43]
motion to authorize signature for the
[10:46]
seal coat and mark project. So moved.
[10:50]
>> Second. Is there any further discussion?
[10:53]
Hearing none, all in favor signify by
[10:55]
saying I.
[10:56]
>> I.
[10:57]
>> Motion carries. And then you have
[11:01]
discussion piece in front of you. It's
[11:04]
titled Star Max. It's for uh a cleaning
[11:08]
service to come in and and do
[11:11]
very deep clean of the entire movie
[11:14]
theater. the all the screens in the
[11:18]
auditoriums and the sound folds and the
[11:20]
drapes and the chairs and the carpet and
[11:22]
everything. Um Curtis, you want to speak
[11:24]
to any of that? I mean, you're here. You
[11:26]
have the opportunity.
[11:28]
>> So,
[11:32]
um yeah, Curtis Hopro, we run the the
[11:36]
movie theater here in town. Um and we've
[11:39]
been looking uh I I don't pretend to
[11:41]
know all of the ins and outs of the
[11:43]
screen. I am a whole lot better with the
[11:45]
projector itself. Um, but when we when
[11:48]
we took over running the movie theater,
[11:50]
the first thing that CICO told us is
[11:53]
don't touch the screen because if you
[11:55]
touch it, the dust moves and then it
[11:58]
looks weird and all of those things. So,
[12:00]
we've been looking into some different
[12:03]
companies that do that high level
[12:06]
cleaning. Um, they can get clear up to
[12:08]
the top of those those sound drapes on
[12:11]
the sides of the walls.
[12:13]
um on the north side uh where before we took over operation of the
[12:18]
theater, the the roof had leaked. They
[12:20]
replaced the roof. There's there's a
[12:23]
little bit of water damage on some of
[12:24]
those drapes. I I sent these guys
[12:27]
pictures of all of that and they said
[12:29]
that they could take care of it. We've
[12:31]
gotten as high as we can standing on a
[12:34]
ladder and as high as I comfortable
[12:38]
going with our little portable carpet
[12:40]
cleaner that we have.
[12:42]
Um, this also includes um all of the
[12:46]
every seat, the cleaning of the fabric
[12:48]
that's on the seats. Um, and all of the
[12:52]
plastic and then they put a protective
[12:55]
coating on it to keep uh from getting
[12:58]
additional scuff marks or additional
[13:02]
stains on fabric.
[13:04]
Um we did um
[13:08]
and that you you have it in front of
[13:11]
you, but we'd look we'd be be looking at
[13:12]
the cost of $1,495.
[13:15]
Um this is the the company out of
[13:19]
Chesterfield, Missouri is the closest
[13:21]
one that we could find. When we reached
[13:24]
out and talked to other theaters, larger
[13:27]
theaters, uh different things, they
[13:30]
everybody pointed back to these guys.
[13:34]
Who ever had this done before?
[13:36]
>> Not that I'm aware of. If it's if it was
[13:38]
done, it was well before
[13:40]
>> prior to us.
[13:41]
So, I know it hasn't been
[13:43]
done in the last four years. This
[13:45]
company recommends that you do it about
[13:47]
every three to four. So, it's it's
[13:50]
probably high time. We may find some new
[13:53]
colors in those murals
[13:55]
once once they get to get everything off
[13:58]
of them. But, uh I just this is
[14:01]
something that I think uh important to,
[14:04]
you know, protect those seats are not
[14:06]
the most comfortable things on the
[14:07]
planet, but barring having the money to
[14:11]
completely replace them, protecting what
[14:13]
we do have there, uh, is important.
[14:20]
» Well, how long you keep it closed for
[14:22]
when they come in?
[14:24]
>> What's that? Oh, we are uh we've talked
[14:26]
to them. We're trying to schedule this
[14:28]
on the days that we're closed on Monday.
[14:30]
It should take them about two two and a
[14:32]
half days. So if they start on a Monday
[14:34]
morning, they should be done by the time
[14:36]
we would have a Wednesday evening uh
[14:38]
show. So we shouldn't have to be closed
[14:40]
to the public more than what we the
[14:43]
Monday Tuesday we already are. So
[14:47]
» I think it's a good idea.
[14:48]
>> Yeah, I think I think it's I think it's
[14:50]
a great idea. And I I will say, you
[14:52]
know, through the budget process and
[14:54]
stuff, they didn't didn't come at us
[14:55]
this year with a big long lengthy list.
[14:57]
They're they're realistic and they're
[14:59]
being good stewards of of a town home
[15:02]
facility and trying to provide an
[15:04]
opportunity for for our small town. So,
[15:07]
I would have no heartburn in in cleaning
[15:09]
it up and getting rid of the dust and and
[15:12]
helping them achieve a financial success
[15:15]
and and you know, doing our part for a
[15:18]
town building. I I'm perfectly on board
[15:20]
with it.
[15:20]
>> I'm looking forward to seeing your book
[15:21]
called Over the Curtains.
[15:24]
If we do this, then that'll give Curtis
[15:25]
more time to research cheaper popcorn.
[15:28]
>> Cheaper popcorn. I like that. I like
[15:30]
that.
[15:31]
>> I got to tell you, I kind of I really
[15:33]
like my popcorn.
[15:35]
>> I know.
[15:35]
>> I I ate a lot of really really really
[15:38]
bad popcorn building up to the this. So,
[15:41]
I don't want to go back there.
[15:43]
>> I commented to him the other day. He
[15:45]
said, you know, with the drought, he
[15:46]
said the popping corn variety of corn
[15:49]
being raised is a little tougher to get.
[15:50]
The price is going to go up. Yep. Yeah,
[15:52]
that's what he said in the meeting we
[15:53]
had. That was
[15:55]
>> Luckily, we we have not seen that price
[15:57]
increase. Um I was afraid we would with
[15:59]
the fires in Nebraska. Um it was my
[16:02]
understanding and from talking to to the
[16:04]
guys on the farm that that fire came up
[16:07]
and took out several of their fields,
[16:09]
>> but we have not seen that price increase
[16:12]
passed on to us yet. So,
[16:14]
>> we're we're we're good right now.
[16:17]
>> Exactly. So,
[16:18]
>> I think it's a great idea and I would
[16:20]
move that we uh allow this to happen.
[16:23]
>> Second.
[16:24]
>> It's been moved and seconded. Is there
[16:26]
any further discussion on uh StarMax LLC
[16:30]
cleaning up theater?
[16:33]
>> Hearing none. All in favor signify by
[16:34]
saying I
[16:35]
>> I oppose. Same sign. Motion will carry.
[16:39]
>> Thank you, gentlemen. Wonder look better
[16:42]
up there.
[16:44]
>> It's Kevin. How good can he look?
[16:49]
Um, next item up is uh the Axon
[16:53]
agreement for the police department. And
[16:55]
I see the chief's here. You want to you
[16:57]
want to add anything to this discussion?
[16:59]
>> I can briefly add a little bit. So
[17:03]
the contract increased a little bit
[17:05]
during uh the discussion with the the
[17:10]
company versus from what I uh gave you
[17:13]
guys in the budget meetings. The reason
[17:15]
for that is there was some software
[17:18]
differences that weren't added that we
[17:20]
were told were going to be added. And
[17:22]
then I did not, and this was on me, I
[17:25]
did not put the fourth vehicle that we
[17:27]
have at Arch to be built. I did not buy
[17:31]
a new camera and get that set up with
[17:32]
that. So there's the adjustments for
[17:34]
that was we have a fourth car that we
[17:37]
have to get a camera for. Um
[17:40]
the the differences are going to be
[17:43]
covered through salaries. I mean, we're
[17:45]
going to have at least probably two
[17:46]
months worth of salaries that are going
[17:48]
to be two positions that aren't going to
[17:50]
be filled. So, the cost should work
[17:53]
itself out in the budget for the
[17:55]
differences.
[18:01]
» Brad, this is a
[18:03]
an addition for the people here. I know
[18:06]
we've talked about it a few times. um
[18:08]
with this Axon program. This is covers a
[18:12]
heck of a lot of liability things,
[18:14]
covers a heck of a lot of safety things.
[18:16]
So, this is a 10-year contract with
[18:18]
Axon. So, we're going to be set for the
[18:19]
next 10 years on and it's going to cover
[18:22]
all of our body cam warn cameras, all of
[18:24]
our incar cameras. Um, it's VR virtual
[18:28]
reality training that we're going to be
[18:29]
able to use with both the taser, pistol
[18:33]
platform, and a rifle platform that we
[18:35]
can do in-house training, virtual
[18:37]
reality, two officer response type
[18:40]
things. Um, again, that's all covered
[18:43]
through a 10-year contract with
[18:46]
replacement upgrades. The body cameras
[18:48]
are upgraded every couple of years. The
[18:50]
incar cameras are covered every couple
[18:52]
of years. It includes what is called
[18:54]
LPR, which is a license plate reader um
[18:57]
that is connected into the incar cameras
[18:59]
that reads the license plates will
[19:01]
identify stolen vehicles uh ATL vehicles
[19:05]
meaning like suicidal subject missing
[19:08]
people those types of things they'll
[19:10]
give us an alert through the camera
[19:11]
system so I mean it's a a lot of
[19:14]
technology it's not just one thing with
[19:16]
the tasers I mean it covers all of our
[19:18]
brand new tasers we'll get brand new
[19:20]
tasers for the next 10 years um it
[19:22]
covers all of our uh cartridges that we
[19:25]
have. So, it's a lot wrapped up into the
[19:29]
contract.
[19:37]
» And this does this include that uh
[19:39]
translation that we talked about?
[19:41]
>> It does. So, with our bodywn cameras, we
[19:43]
have it where we can translate uh 56
[19:47]
languages and it's all recorded through
[19:49]
that all AI AI technology. Um, there's a program that I was informed about that
[19:55]
we already have, excuse me, that I can
[19:58]
upload our department,
[20:01]
excuse me, our department policies into
[20:04]
it. We can put the bond schedules into
[20:06]
it. We put state statute, town
[20:08]
ordinance, all up into that. An officer
[20:10]
can click a button, say, "Hey, what's
[20:11]
the town ordinance for paraphernalia?"
[20:14]
And it'll read off the statute or the
[20:16]
ordinance and tell us the bond and
[20:17]
everything. Wow. So, it's a lot. There's
[20:22]
a lot. It's a uh there's a feature to it
[20:25]
where it'll basically transcribe
[20:29]
the body warn camera into a report form.
[20:32]
Y
[20:32]
>> and then the officer has to read through
[20:34]
it and make changes. There's required
[20:36]
changes that you have to do to it. So
[20:38]
you're actually reviewing the report to
[20:40]
make sure the information that's in it
[20:41]
is correct.
[20:43]
So I mean it's going to save time on
[20:45]
reports. It's going to make accuracy on
[20:47]
reports.
[20:49]
Okay.
[20:51]
Brad, I just the quote says it expires
[20:54]
7126
[20:56]
26. Are they extending that?
[21:01]
» No, it's a 10ear contract.
[21:04]
>> Oh, expires.
[21:06]
>> Yeah, they
[21:08]
covered.
[21:10]
>> This is the one that they provided with
[21:11]
me and then I just sign I'll have to
[21:13]
sign that contract and send back
[21:21]
Okay.
[21:25]
I make a motion that we approve this act
[21:28]
on agreement
[21:31]
>> and authorized Brad to sign it.
[21:34]
>> Second
[21:36]
move and seconded. Is there any other
[21:38]
discussion
[21:40]
hearing? None. All in favor signify by
[21:42]
saying I.
[21:43]
>> I.
[21:46]
Same sign. It covers cartridges. Gary
[21:49]
Lochman said he'd like to try it once.
[21:53]
>> Pick me.
[21:54]
>> I have a waiver that we can find some
[21:57]
recommended. I let him do it to me once.
[21:59]
It wasn't fun.
[22:02]
>> All right.
[22:04]
And the last item under new business
[22:06]
will be uh a discussion um on a contract
[22:11]
for a building for the police department
[22:13]
at 1302 9th Street.
[22:27]
Doug, what is your input here?
[22:30]
>> Well, I sent you guys a letter. Um,
[22:33]
that's an old building and I think
[22:35]
probably before you make an offer, I I
[22:38]
know Sarah drafted the offer.
[22:42]
from my perspective and for the town's
[22:44]
perspective. I think you should ask for
[22:46]
permission to do the inspections prior
[22:48]
to that. Um and then actually you don't
[22:52]
have much time in the contract to do the
[22:54]
inspections but it gives you time to get
[22:57]
and no offense to contractor but some
[22:59]
qualified people to inspect that
[23:00]
building inspect the the systems in that
[23:04]
building do some asbestous either phase
[23:07]
one is it phase one and two or phase
[23:09]
three
[23:10]
>> those sorts because I can tell you that
[23:12]
building's older than I am
[23:14]
>> really damn and that's pretty damn old.
[23:18]
It was built right after Lar,
[23:22]
>> maybe even before.
[23:24]
But anyway, um and the example I use is
[23:29]
if you remember that gas station in the
[23:31]
motel across from uh Tasty Treats,
[23:35]
>> they covered that because that outside
[23:38]
stuckle was all was
[23:41]
>> asbestous.
[23:42]
>> And so you just don't want to buy
[23:45]
something that you don't know everything
[23:46]
about is my theory. I mean, it's
[23:49]
ultimately your choice, but that's my
[23:51]
biggest concern is all the systems. It's
[23:54]
a pretty old building. And then um make
[23:57]
sure you you know what you're buying and
[24:00]
then you can make an offer saying here
[24:02]
are the conditions and here's what you
[24:03]
need to do.
[24:17]
Yeah, I'd be interested to hear what
[24:19]
anyone else has to say as well.
[24:21]
>> Yeah. Is there any other comment at this
[24:23]
time? Is there what's what's reasonable
[24:27]
and customary there, realtor?
[24:29]
>> Hi. So, in the contract, it's written
[24:32]
that you're able to do you have a period
[24:34]
of inspections. You can do any
[24:35]
inspections that you would like to do as
[24:36]
long as you're willing to pay for them.
[24:38]
And you have a period to get that done.
[24:40]
You can ask for repairs from the seller.
[24:43]
does not agree to your
[24:45]
repairs request, you can back out. So,
[24:49]
you're not stuck in a contract with
[24:52]
repairs that need to be done. So, if you
[24:54]
find that there are catastrophic issues
[24:56]
with property, you can back up.
[25:02]
» And if it's not, if you feel like it's
[25:05]
you guys feel like there's not an
[25:06]
adequate amount of time, there's a few
[25:08]
weeks open. So, if that doesn't feel
[25:10]
like an adequate amount of time,
[25:15]
But this uh Sarah, correct me if I'm
[25:17]
wrong. This sets us up to where we kind
[25:20]
of have our thumb on it at that point,
[25:23]
right? And so if someone were to come in
[25:25]
or whatever, we have our thumb there.
[25:28]
>> Correct.
[25:29]
>> If they accept your offer, there would
[25:31]
be earnest money put up and they would
[25:33]
not be able to accept other offers.
[25:34]
>> Okay.
[25:35]
>> Procedures. It's
[25:37]
>> like buying a house. You go in, you get
[25:38]
the inspections done after you make an
[25:40]
offer. You got all the inspections done.
[25:41]
Yeah, exactly.
[25:42]
>> Negotiations take place, the prices.
[25:44]
>> I just want it out in the open. Exactly
[25:46]
what that looks like.
[25:46]
>> Yeah, that's what I assume. This is just
[25:48]
like that because having bought a couple
[25:51]
houses traveling around the world,
[25:54]
>> there's contingencies for financing and
[25:57]
contingencies for repairs. So,
[26:00]
inspections come up.
[26:03]
>> I can tell you don't have enough time
[26:04]
for the inspections.
[26:06]
You have a month basically less than a
[26:09]
month and you won't get all the inctions
[26:13]
by appropriate people.
[26:19]
» Is that negoti negotiable?
[26:21]
>> We haven't made an offer.
[26:22]
>> Yeah, absolutely. You can you can write
[26:25]
in any amount of time that you would
[26:27]
like for inspection.
[26:29]
So, however much time you guys think
[26:31]
part of it is I don't know who you want
[26:34]
for inspectors. Most that I work with or
[26:40]
testing lead testing which usually can
[26:44]
be done within a couple weeks.
[26:48]
I haven't had a lot of issues getting
[26:49]
this package but I also don't know
[26:56]
government building is new to me so work
[26:57]
with me on this one.
[26:59]
>> Well, we're not we the offer that you
[27:02]
sent out we're not giving up the full
[27:05]
asking price either.
[27:10]
And you probably can't tell me this, but
[27:11]
is that a hot commodity?
[27:13]
>> Uh, there has been the the listing agent
[27:16]
disclosed. There were people looking at
[27:18]
it even today. So, there are interested
[27:20]
buyers,
[27:22]
>> but that's
[27:24]
of
[27:37]
your concern. I I truly do. And believe
[27:39]
me, I I don't want to buy a lemon, but I
[27:42]
also want to make sure we're not missing
[27:44]
out on a very
[27:47]
usable piece of property as well
[27:49]
>> for a decent price.
[27:52]
>> Today's market,
[27:53]
>> the acreage, the building, there's a lot
[27:56]
there that
[27:56]
>> right,
[27:57]
>> you know, have haven't walked through
[27:58]
with the chief
[28:00]
>> and the growth potential even to
[28:02]
mitigate some of the stuff that we have
[28:03]
right now would be immense.
[28:06]
Um,
[28:16]
» we have five minutes. Bring us to the
[28:17]
podium.
[28:18]
>> Just one man's opinion, Willie Allison.
[28:21]
Thank you, mayor. Thank you, council. As
[28:24]
I recall, you know, the three years and
[28:26]
two months I was on, we were looking at
[28:29]
the old Laram Ford dealership over there
[28:32]
on South South Street. We looked at
[28:35]
another building over there on Mariposa.
[28:39]
We had a chance to get lock trucking.
[28:42]
And don't get me wrong, I came here in
[28:44]
83. That building was poss.
[29:00]
Thank you.
[29:05]
Dave,
[29:09]
» um,
[29:11]
does a town really need more property
[29:13]
when there are buildable
[29:15]
acres that the town already owns?
[29:20]
Um, building that they're currently in
[29:23]
has been a problem for 20 years.
[29:27]
and
[29:29]
you're walking into the same type of
[29:31]
situation where if you're going to
[29:33]
rebuild a complete building again, why
[29:35]
not just build a new building?
[29:39]
And there is property within the town
[29:41]
that you could put a building on that
[29:43]
the town already owns,
[29:46]
make work.
[29:48]
My opinion
[29:55]
And I know that
[29:58]
being on the committee for uh the new PD
[30:01]
wherever um we have looked at building a
[30:04]
new building. The problem is it's you
[30:07]
know we're going to have to go to a
[30:11]
six penny tax type of situation to get
[30:13]
to it. Um,
[30:17]
the building across the street was a
[30:19]
band-aid when they moved them in there
[30:21]
and it's still
[30:24]
held up kind of and right now it's to
[30:27]
the point where it's trash. It's it's
[30:30]
gone. Um,
[30:34]
I understand uh we've looked at at
[30:37]
custom build for this police department.
[30:42]
Um, like I said, it's it's six, seven
[30:44]
million bucks and Yeah. Yeah.
[30:48]
>> Taj Mahal.
[30:50]
>> And that's not a Taj Mahal.
[30:51]
>> That is not a Taj Mahal. And I can tell
[30:54]
you for the the square footage of that
[30:57]
building down there, plus the land and
[30:59]
everything with it. Um, it blows that
[31:02]
6,7 million out of the water. um for the
[31:05]
simple fact you could go in there and
[31:06]
put a million dollars into it and have
[31:08]
exactly what you want versus uh what was
[31:12]
the one we were looking at? It was like
[31:14]
10 12,000 square foot. The one that we
[31:18]
were having.
[31:20]
>> So custom build.
[31:21]
>> Yeah.
[31:21]
>> We were going to be able to do 8,000
[31:23]
square feet for the custom build.
[31:25]
>> Yes.
[31:28]
>> So that's where we're kind of stuck
[31:29]
between that rock and that hard place.
[31:31]
We're like, there's some land around.
[31:33]
There's a few things. We actually looked
[31:35]
at a piece of land and uh offered on it.
[31:38]
They decided they didn't want to get rid
[31:39]
of it. Um and then trying to find a, you
[31:43]
know, a a suitable location, I guess. Um
[31:47]
for this building is another thing we've
[31:50]
had to jump through over and over.
[31:55]
Um, it looks like Tiffany Lane just
[31:59]
commented, wanted to comment and she
[32:01]
said, "Why doesn't the town look at
[32:03]
spending money to fix the current
[32:05]
building?" I know that the county fixed
[32:08]
the Coleman building HVAC system for
[32:10]
200k seems a lot cheaper.
[32:16]
» As far as fixing the current building,
[32:18]
for one, they've outgrown it. There are
[32:20]
regulations, and Chief, if I'm
[32:22]
misspeaking, please step into this.
[32:24]
There are regulations for evidence,
[32:26]
things like that that we currently
[32:28]
couldn't do even if we wanted to with
[32:30]
the building we're currently in. Um,
[32:33]
with the regulations written the way
[32:34]
they are, and with the storage of
[32:37]
evidence and things like that, you know,
[32:39]
certain square footage or certain air
[32:41]
movement, there's things like that that
[32:42]
we have to do. I mean, you you you want
[32:45]
to talk about chrome wheels on a dump
[32:47]
truck, that's exactly what that would
[32:49]
be.
[32:50]
>> Well, and then the other complicating
[32:52]
factor of that building is all of the
[32:54]
heating, air conditioning, duct work is
[32:56]
under the concrete slab and it's all
[32:59]
collapsed. So, the band-aids or the
[33:01]
lipstick on the pig, if you will, that
[33:03]
we've done as we've thrown roof mount
[33:04]
stuff on it to try to get by and keep
[33:06]
using the building. So you you can't
[33:10]
even make a solid argument that you've
[33:12]
got good bones over there to reconstruct
[33:14]
because you really don't.
[33:17]
>> We really have kicked the can down the
[33:19]
road one too many times with that
[33:20]
building. We really have.
[33:23]
>> I don't know that this is a perfect
[33:25]
solution, but it is one worth
[33:27]
discussing.
[33:34]
And Billy, I take your point. I walked
[33:37]
through the building a couple of times.
[33:38]
I walked around the exterior of the
[33:39]
building. I walked through the parking
[33:40]
lot. Um I spent a lot of time looking at
[33:44]
this
[33:46]
and we have to be cognizant of how much
[33:48]
money we're spending. Absolutely. And
[33:50]
how much lipstick we want to put in a
[33:51]
pig
[33:53]
because at the end of the day, we want
[33:55]
to make sure it's going to be something
[33:56]
where we can stay for indefinite period
[33:58]
of time. It's going to meet the
[33:59]
requirements of our PD of the
[34:01]
evidentiary requirements that we have
[34:04]
including climate control and everything
[34:06]
else. we cannot get in our current
[34:07]
building. Um,
[34:10]
but I think looking at and getting the
[34:12]
qualified inspectors in to do a
[34:14]
qualified inspection of the building
[34:17]
doesn't mean we're buying the building.
[34:18]
It means we know what we're getting or
[34:20]
we know we're not going to get
[34:23]
because at that point in time we can
[34:24]
kind of no that's
[34:27]
you're not going to be able to fix that
[34:28]
much and we're not going to be willing
[34:29]
to pay for that much. I think it's
[34:32]
something that we can at least take a
[34:33]
look at realistically, get the proper
[34:36]
inspections done on it, and then make an
[34:38]
intelligent decision from there. Because
[34:40]
right now, you know, I don't work on
[34:42]
emotion.
[34:44]
I look at things very analytically and
[34:45]
what's going to be better, you know,
[34:46]
best for this community. And we've
[34:49]
looked around town. We've had offers on
[34:51]
different things. Even the old junior
[34:52]
high was thrown out to us. But who wants
[34:54]
a PD right in the middle of housing
[34:57]
>> and in that building, too?
[34:58]
>> No. Nobody wants that.
[34:59]
>> Talk about problems. Yeah.
[35:01]
>> So, they were going to tear down the
[35:02]
building and give us the land to build.
[35:04]
>> Yeah. We've looked at all these
[35:06]
different aspect of things. We
[35:07]
considered them, but
[35:08]
>> what's best for the community and
[35:09]
where's the best place to put a PD?
[35:12]
>> Oh, most of it. Sorry.
[35:14]
>> No, you go ahead.
[35:15]
>> Most definitely. You know, and I what I
[35:18]
was just bringing up, you know, that we
[35:20]
did look at Laramie Peak before the
[35:22]
county had to move out of the
[35:23]
courthouse.
[35:24]
>> They put a boatload of money into fixing
[35:26]
the office area in Laramie Peak or the
[35:30]
Ford dealership and
[35:33]
which would have suited our fancy would
[35:35]
have helped out PD. Don't get me wrong,
[35:38]
I'm not against PD getting a bigger
[35:40]
building by no means,
[35:42]
but also lock trucking was offered to us
[35:45]
also, but there again, back in that day,
[35:49]
we didn't have
[35:51]
the money
[35:53]
>> to throw out there because we had water
[35:55]
tower and we had 16th Street going at
[35:57]
the same time.
[35:58]
>> Absolutely.
[36:00]
We were kind of
[36:02]
strapped.
[36:03]
>> Oh, we're still there.
[36:04]
>> Well, and then, oh, I forgot we had the
[36:07]
ladder truck had also. But no, by no
[36:11]
means, you know, I just think there's a
[36:13]
better building
[36:16]
than the old Chevrolet place down there.
[36:20]
you know those baywood those windows on
[36:23]
outside of the office area
[36:27]
going to take a lot.
[36:30]
>> What is the asking price for the
[36:32]
building?
[36:33]
>> What the 500,000 do I think?
[36:35]
>> Okay. And are inspections included or is
[36:39]
there in you have that in the budget? I
[36:42]
mean if you don't buy it you and we're
[36:44]
going to spend some money for
[36:45]
inspections that's all covered.
[36:46]
>> Yeah. I mean yeah we that's inherent
[36:49]
risk. We know that, but we also want to
[36:51]
try to make sure we know what we're
[36:54]
getting. Yeah, we're up against.
[36:57]
>> Yeah. We don't want to put them in a
[36:59]
junior high by no no means business.
[37:02]
>> Well, no. Even the whole thing the
[37:03]
junior high was they're going to tear
[37:04]
the building down, give us a lot, but
[37:06]
nobody wants a PD in the middle of a
[37:07]
housing area.
[37:08]
>> No. No.
[37:09]
>> Sure. The sirens going off at night
[37:11]
would be welcomed by all residents.
[37:13]
>> Right.
[37:14]
If I can add a little bit to help a
[37:17]
little bit with like different
[37:18]
properties and the buildings that we
[37:19]
have to look at, one of the big things
[37:21]
that we have to look at is the response
[37:23]
of
[37:25]
where we're coming from and where we're
[37:27]
going. So, if we get the old Junior High
[37:29]
property, we're responding lights and
[37:32]
sirens at higher speeds through
[37:35]
residential districts where kids are out
[37:39]
playing, dogs are out running around,
[37:42]
balls are being ran or thrown across the
[37:44]
street. We've got to be cautious of
[37:45]
where we're responding. The other thing
[37:47]
that we got to be looking at when we're
[37:49]
looking at buildings and property is the
[37:51]
security of the building as well. Where
[37:53]
are we our access points, our exit
[37:55]
points for the building? I mean, we're
[37:58]
not always like people target law
[37:59]
enforcement. So, we have to have that
[38:01]
security and and the quick road access
[38:05]
is like that. So, I understand what you
[38:07]
guys are saying and I'm you know, Jason
[38:09]
and the council, the committee, we've
[38:12]
all visited about different properties
[38:13]
and buildings around town, but we have a
[38:16]
lot that more goes into it than just uh
[38:19]
building. We have to look at security
[38:20]
aspects, response times. You know, I
[38:24]
can't have a police department in the
[38:25]
middle of of town where we're responding
[38:27]
through communities.
[38:29]
>> Well, I'm not saying we get to junior
[38:31]
high. I think personally junior high
[38:34]
needs torn down.
[38:36]
That's the school's expense, not ours,
[38:38]
you know. Well, we looked at, you know,
[38:41]
we've looked at uh
[38:43]
we've been working on this for a long
[38:45]
time and and we've looked at, you know,
[38:47]
the different areas you go out like
[38:49]
Paragon Way where, you know,
[38:52]
>> one way in, one way out and that's our
[38:54]
big worry about that, you know, the same
[38:56]
way with go down one more uh cul I guess
[38:59]
go south one more culde-sac where um
[39:03]
>> Progress
[39:03]
>> Yeah, Progress Court is same way. One
[39:06]
way in, one way out. Um Uh, I know from
[39:09]
an emergency standpoint of my life,
[39:11]
there's that's that's the biggest threat
[39:13]
you could ever have is to be pinned in
[39:15]
somewhere and not be able to get
[39:17]
somewhere, right?
[39:18]
>> Um, everyone was like, you know, what
[39:19]
about the the lot across the uh Gil
[39:22]
Crest, go right across Gilchrist uh
[39:24]
railroad tracks to the left. Well, if a
[39:27]
trains there, guess what? You know,
[39:29]
that's why when we built Eastern Wing
[39:31]
Ambulance back in the day, we built it
[39:33]
out with a large roadway and everything
[39:35]
else, you know. Um, so there's, please
[39:38]
understand there's a lot of thought
[39:40]
that's gone into this. We've looked at
[39:41]
tons of different things and well, this
[39:44]
might work, that might work, you know,
[39:47]
so
[39:48]
it's we we definitely banged our head
[39:51]
against the wall on this one.
[39:52]
>> Yeah. And I I I would add to your your
[39:54]
train of thought. I mean, this is the
[39:55]
first one that we've maybe gotten more
[39:57]
serious about and we're willing to throw
[40:01]
some money at inspections and move
[40:03]
forward in the process to see if it
[40:05]
works. There's been lots of could a
[40:07]
would a shouldas and lots of lookie
[40:09]
looing, but this is the first one that
[40:10]
maybe we're
[40:12]
taking more action on. And that's not to
[40:14]
say that we're lock and barrel going to
[40:16]
do it. It's just it's of enough interest
[40:18]
that we need to explore the ability of
[40:21]
doing it for sure.
[40:23]
>> Oh, most definitely. Well, and the
[40:25]
elephant in the room, I I I worry that
[40:28]
if we don't make a move on this with
[40:30]
this amount of ground that we would get
[40:32]
with the building itself, it goes to
[40:35]
someone else. Where else is there that
[40:38]
couldn't even come up for sale that
[40:39]
would, you know, that we could even look
[40:42]
at, I guess.
[40:42]
>> What's the lot again?
[40:44]
>> Acre and half.
[40:45]
>> An acre and a half lot that we're going
[40:47]
to have included with this whole thing.
[40:48]
So, I mean,
[40:49]
>> and it's already fenced, too. I mean,
[40:51]
and it's security fence and there's just
[40:53]
there's a lot of there's a lot of pros.
[40:56]
There are cons, but um
[41:00]
our scale as a as a mayor and council
[41:03]
says it's worth digging a little deeper
[41:05]
into before we say yes or no. So I know
[41:08]
sir you said uh there are provisions in
[41:10]
here if we need to have all the things
[41:13]
done that that uh uh Doug Weaver's asked
[41:17]
for that can be done with the signing of
[41:20]
this and we're still okay with
[41:23]
everything we do have the opportunity to
[41:24]
back out this
[41:27]
you don't have he he could fix it
[41:31]
>> but you might not like the fix all
[41:34]
guaranteed this way I'm just saying be
[41:36]
cautious of everything you do.
[41:38]
>> No, but I mean we can still have our
[41:39]
inspections.
[41:40]
>> Yeah, but I think if you're going to
[41:42]
have them, you got to extend that
[41:43]
inspection time out because right now
[41:45]
it's you have to give him a letter by
[41:48]
August Well, you have to have those done
[41:51]
and give them the notice by August 12th.
[41:55]
And that isn't going to give you time.
[41:57]
I'll guarantee you that will not give
[41:58]
you time to do it appropriate. If you do
[42:01]
it, I would suggest at minimum of 60
[42:03]
days out.
[42:05]
So thanks sir.
[42:07]
>> You can ask for anything
[42:09]
>> and see what the seller says.
[42:10]
>> Okay.
[42:11]
>> And then probably so we know the title
[42:14]
insurance. A lot of times we name the
[42:15]
title insurance company one in town
[42:18]
that's premier title just
[42:21]
>> that's four weeks and two days from
[42:23]
today
[42:25]
August 12th.
[42:26]
What about a six weeks we can ask for? I
[42:29]
think that would be inspe
[42:36]
» Oh, absolutely.
[42:38]
>> You guys need special something.
[42:40]
>> We'll kind of be realistic about getting
[42:41]
the inspectors in and not also having
[42:44]
him wait. Now, I appreciate his holding
[42:47]
on and working with us on this. It's
[42:49]
also a matter of I think a six week
[42:51]
window will give us more opportunity to
[42:52]
get the proper people in to look at
[42:54]
things.
[42:55]
>> That's up to you.
[42:56]
>> So, I would be fine. Yeah.
[42:58]
>> Would you be okay with that?
[42:59]
>> I'd be all right.
[43:00]
>> All right. So, I propose I make a motion
[43:04]
we accept this contract with a six week
[43:08]
period for inspections.
[43:11]
>> I would second that
[43:12]
>> and name Premier Title as a title.
[43:14]
>> Name Premier Title as a company
[43:16]
>> and extend the closing date then.
[43:19]
>> Yeah.
[43:22]
>> Yes. Correct.
[43:25]
>> The initial two weeks past that
[43:28]
>> is that
[43:30]
>> manageable.
[43:32]
>> Yes sir.
[43:34]
>> You want me to stand up? Thanks for
[43:36]
coming.
[43:38]
>> I just my only my only comment on all
[43:41]
this is we went through it about about
[43:43]
uh Scott Warner went through this about
[43:46]
six months ago. My only recommendation
[43:48]
just listening would would say do a
[43:51]
phase one do it if you want to give it
[43:53]
six weeks if it's an older building I
[43:56]
would do a phase you know phase one
[43:58]
inspection and maybe give yourself um an
[44:02]
additional additional runway and time if
[44:05]
a phase two is required because if if a
[44:08]
phase two required I would agree with Doug you have it's going to take
[44:12]
longer and you're going to have to make
[44:14]
the decision on who pays for the phase
[44:16]
two try to be the talent, but you just
[44:19]
give yourself a little better runway on
[44:22]
uh on the phase two site. I think you'll set yourself up for um for a
[44:26]
little more um success if if it requires
[44:30]
it. So, sorry to interrupt
[44:33]
and she can write that in and say if
[44:35]
phase two is required,
[44:37]
>> you know, whatever whatever additional
[44:39]
time frame you need to call it another,
[44:41]
you know, three, four weeks or whatever
[44:42]
because that might
[44:44]
>> No, thank you for the input. That's why
[44:46]
we have no that's why we have discussion
[44:48]
period after
[44:48]
>> absolutely
[44:49]
>> this is exactly why we have discussion
[44:51]
after voting
[44:54]
>> I will amend my motion
[44:56]
>> and I will second
[44:57]
>> to a phase one inspection to be
[44:59]
completed within six weeks
[45:01]
>> then have the opportunity
[45:03]
>> phase two
[45:04]
>> what he said
[45:05]
>> in so many
[45:06]
>> yeah I'm not sure how how long it takes
[45:08]
to get a phase two and you know in your
[45:10]
area but I just know they're a lot more
[45:12]
complex
[45:13]
>> the write up takes longer so Yeah, you
[45:16]
guys probably have more experience with
[45:17]
that, but I that's my only
[45:20]
>> Yeah. And there's no guarantee that it's
[45:22]
needed, but if it is, there's
[45:23]
>> just Yeah, it just gives you that offer
[45:25]
if you do need it.
[45:28]
>> This is the learn as we go thing for
[45:30]
sure.
[45:33]
>> So, a motion and a second for the
[45:35]
>> phase one inspection
[45:36]
>> for six weeks followed by a phase two if
[45:40]
necessary
[45:42]
>> and Premier Title Company as a title.
[45:47]
You got all that.
[45:49]
>> All right.
[45:51]
>> Is there any further comments at this
[45:53]
time?
[45:56]
Hearing none. All in.
[45:57]
>> Yeah.
[45:58]
>> Something Jason said a minute ago. I can
[46:00]
stand up if you want.
[46:03]
>> Yeah. Go ahead, John. Stand up. Be
[46:05]
official.
[46:08]
>> Uh John Odum. Uh something you said
[46:10]
Jason which got me to thinking you were
[46:13]
talking about the lot right across
[46:14]
Gilcraft on the north side of the road.
[46:16]
If there's a train coming then couldn't
[46:19]
respond. Would the same be said for
[46:22]
being on this side of the tracks if
[46:24]
something's going down you couldn't
[46:25]
respond east of the tracks?
[46:27]
>> A lot of I can just tell you like with
[46:29]
the ambulance service um it was for one
[46:34]
most of our town is on this side. We do
[46:36]
have some out there. I get it. Um, but
[46:38]
we had I mean we've had times where we
[46:41]
responded and had to get on the radio
[46:43]
and call Burlington Northern and say get
[46:45]
your train moved. Um, because we try to
[46:48]
jump, you know, you know, where the
[46:49]
crossings are arguing that I was curious
[46:52]
if there was a reason.
[46:54]
>> Well, and and the majority of the town
[46:56]
being on this side of it, I I worry a
[46:59]
heck of a lot less about that response,
[47:01]
you know, over here than I would. you
[47:04]
know, the guys are at briefing and all
[47:05]
of a sudden we got to train across three
[47:07]
tracks and we've got something popping
[47:08]
off, you know, whatever.
[47:10]
>> No, I totally understand.
[47:11]
>> It's kind of crazy, man. It's it's a
[47:13]
planning nightmare, if you will. So,
[47:18]
>> looking for a little deeper,
[47:21]
>> you definitely have to look at where the
[47:23]
primary calls are, like what side of
[47:24]
town is our primary. We get majority,
[47:27]
you know, the majority of our calls are
[47:28]
on this side of the railroad tracks
[47:30]
>> to where traverses over there. So, we
[47:32]
have to be
[47:36]
curious.
[47:40]
» Yes,
[47:42]
>> were we finished with number eight?
[47:47]
» I Well, I got to call the vote.
[47:48]
>> Oh, yeah. Okay, that's where I thought
[47:50]
you were.
[47:50]
>> If there are no other comments,
[47:54]
all in favor signify by saying I
[47:57]
>> I post same sign. Motion will carry now.
[48:00]
Yes. Okay.
[48:02]
So, you're you're just before you
[48:06]
adjourn, can I go back to number one and
[48:09]
just um what's the time frame for that
[48:13]
IT contract? When when do you need to
[48:16]
have something new in place?
[48:19]
>> I don't know that we're going to call
[48:20]
for new. We're going to talk to the two
[48:22]
people who have
[48:24]
>> put in the submissions
[48:26]
>> and then I guess on the the going
[48:29]
forward, was it a was it a bid document
[48:33]
poorly written? I mean to to get to
[48:36]
drastically different interpretations.
[48:40]
So are you going to redo the bid
[48:42]
document?
[48:42]
>> I that's what we need to talk about.
[48:45]
Okay. I feel like to be very honest with
[48:47]
you, I feel like after reading through
[48:49]
the contracts, there was uh obviously
[48:52]
the one bidder is the current uh IT
[48:56]
provider and I feel like they had a heck
[48:58]
of a lot of information that not the
[49:02]
other side didn't have.
[49:03]
>> Okay.
[49:04]
>> Um and it's not information that would
[49:07]
it it's an itemized thing. One side had
[49:11]
an exact numbers the other side did not.
[49:13]
And I think that that's something that
[49:15]
I'm not comfortable with. Um saying, "Oh
[49:18]
yeah, we can go this route and you know
[49:20]
be fine with it and you know even though
[49:23]
it's not apples to apples."
[49:25]
>> Okay. But so the current provider will
[49:28]
continue even though the contract is up
[49:31]
for renewal if
[49:32]
>> y
[49:34]
have a little bit of time on.
[49:35]
>> Okay.
[49:37]
>> Thank you.
[49:43]
There any other comment at this time?
[49:46]
Questions or concerns?
[49:50]
Hearing none. Uh make the announcement
[49:53]
that the next regularly scheduled uh
[49:56]
meeting will be August 10th at 7 p.m.
[49:58]
right here. And uh enjoy attendance. So
[50:01]
invite all of you to come back on August
[50:03]
10th and we'll we'll do it again. That
[50:06]
will return the meeting. need me. You
[50:08]
say that all the time. Brandon,
[50:11]
>> do you guys want to do a workshop
[50:13]
>> for the IT contract? What do we want to
[50:15]
do?
[50:17]
>> You just drove all
[50:19]
>> Yeah, I know.
[50:20]
>> But do we want to have like a workshop
[50:22]
so
[50:26]
I think we should.
[50:27]
>> Yeah, I mean happy to accommodate
[50:29]
however you guys. I mean, again, I think
[50:31]
we happy to not sure how if there was
[50:34]
discrepancy in, you know, information
[50:37]
delivered it was more
[50:40]
I'm not we didn't pull the information
[50:42]
together so we just reported on what
[50:44]
exist
[50:56]
» came across
[51:03]
» I know you were like
[51:04]
>> I'm doing good how are you
[51:06]
making comment. I'm sure it was much
[51:08]
appreciated.
[51:09]
>> A little rest and relaxation hopefully.
[51:12]
All new ones. I mean,
[51:18]
that was an eye
