[0:00] come

[0:30] you
[0:42] know so they have a you can see the list of the that they have to you know they
[0:49] got to put you know but that's the
[0:55] downside you know what I'm saying
[1:07] all right I'm going to call this meeting the
[1:09] order roll call uh Mr Christenson here Mr Clark here Mr Herman here Mr Reynolds

[1:22] here okay uh need a motion to adop to adopt the agenda excuse me I make a
[1:29] motion to adop second motion

[1:40] motion I'll move to approve second
[1:46] okay sorry you just want to make sure that you ask for approval from all the
[1:51] board oh just say all all in favor
[2:01] okay uh we're going to move into the public comment section there is nobody
[2:05] signed up to speak and uh we will close that and
[2:09] moving forward and we will go into the report uh the report is here for you to
[2:15] review like to encourage you to take a moment to review this
[2:49] I'll make a motion to approve the
[2:54] report second motion carries and we're going to move into all
[3:00] in favor
[3:04] sorry and we're going to move into new business or discussion
[3:09] items and this is going to be the presentation for this month's meeting
[3:15] I'm going to give it over to Ian yeah I'm just going to run through
[3:20] um hit on some of the highlights we've covered over the
[3:24] past four months I've been for two of those months
[3:30] so gradu uh board topics we have public Outreach cumington Ben engineering study
[3:37] kalista Road retention Pond expansion a trail project update enforcement and the
[3:44] update on the Federal Emergency Management agency
[3:47] Grant so for public Outreach uh we have the tree day for 20125 coming up
[3:55] and that would be in March 15th through of 2025 Lo at at the White House
[4:01] Municipal Park from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. it's 94 days
[4:06] away uh an update for that is we have ordered 1,000 trees this year that's an
[4:12] year-over-year increase of 600 trees from last year
[4:17] yeah um input that you did not have enough trees to
[4:22] support the uh the residents they went through the trees
[4:27] within 30 to 45 minutes last year so we want to increase the uh amount of trees
[4:33] to be able to give more trees to more citizens 13th annual Urban 5K run for
[4:42] 2025 uh we will be looking to participate in that that the date on
[4:47] that is is to be
[4:51] determined the storm water engineering study for cumington Heights as a result
[4:56] of the study area uh three main subbasins have been identified that
[5:02] drain into the neighborhood uh most of the inlets are adequately sized however
[5:07] elevation differences lead to ineffective means to transport water and
[5:13] as a result of this study there is a review for
[5:19] tonight at 5:30
[5:27] p.m. the stor water s orist a road retention
[5:34] Pond uh see
[5:41] here the property that is necessary for the expansion process has been
[5:53] complete the estimated funds to excavate the the
[5:59] additional um property ex currently exceeds the
[6:03] funds available so we are having F the discussions to
[6:07] to best find a rout to solution there the pr Trail project
[6:16] update it's complete sidewalks and curbing have been addressed as you can
[6:20] see from the photos uh the road has been paved and retainage for that is being
[6:26] released
[6:30] this is a couple highlights from our enforcement over the past
[6:36] quarter couple of of the larger Pro uh developments Kester Farms CES Crossing
[6:43] Concord Springs and for those three it's it's the same thing it's just erosion
[6:51] and settlment control uh issues
[6:56] um just um trying to stay on top of S transport off site so we're really um
[7:03] trying to hammer that into uh the developers Minds right there for cider
[7:07] grow that's the the
[7:10] [Music] new pug
[7:14] development between or adjacent to Raymond Hurst
[7:21] Parkway there were some Geotech drilling that was occurring on site uh that had
[7:27] uh pushed some dirt into an identifi stream so we we had a whole um work on
[7:34] that to uh provide um remediation to the stream which has been
[7:41] rectified this is just a highlight of some some local businesses
[7:47] that uh were identified as having elicit discharge entering directly into the
[7:53] storm water uh system it's uh
[7:59] this just an awareness uh issue that we're trying to
[8:02] hammer to these uh local businesses to keep any gray water water
[8:10] that uh is used for cleaning so it has water that has detergents really keep
[8:15] that to out of the stor water uh system and keep it to the uh to the drains to
[8:22] enter into the the Wastewater system so it can be treated correctly you do you
[8:26] know what the type of the list discharge each of these words you mentioned gray
[8:32] water but so the ones to the left were Water Burger that is
[8:37] uh concrete clean out uh cleaning out the whatever uh container they had to
[8:45] pour washed out the TRU yeah cont TR yeah and it uh they washed it out on
[8:51] site and it just they didn't contain it and it just made its way off the site
[8:56] down the side road directly into the storm dra
[9:01] and then uh the photo to the right is just
[9:07] um just soap Water waste water from um business activities same thing
[9:14] with de la positive is just uh emptying a mop bucket full of detergent directly
[9:21] into the water is that one from the mobile pering
[9:26] service is that is that a picture from that I mean
[9:29] how did you catch that we had a um an inspector that was Happ to see it making
[9:34] their rounds and they they notic that noticed something said something called
[9:38] us and we reached out to them and they were they were unaware that that was a a
[9:42] discharge they they didn't they probably do this all the time I would think right
[9:46] not realiz realiz they said they said everyone does it so they didn't know any
[9:50] any of the wiser that they were doing anything incorrect okay so what you
[9:55] recommend to them how would you uh we gave him an NLB
[9:59] they should just how would they correct that you think they probably just have a
[10:04] normal just discharge it under the road yeah under the
[10:09] property to reach out to us if they had any questions but I guess going forward
[10:14] just to have a a portable container to put that in until they can get to a
[10:19] permanent location to empty that discharge
[10:23] that okay I I would assume they would have to discharge somewhere like a
[10:29] whoever would accept that that water it's going to be nowhere in our storm
[10:33] water system that you can do that but maybe maybe Travis and those guys can
[10:38] accept it as
[10:43] Wastewater otherwise they got to go find somewhere else that does except you know
[10:47] whatever I don't know what El in their
[10:52] water yeah most people don't realize you're not supposed to was your car and
[10:56] let it discharge onto the street you know clear water it's not supposed to go
[11:01] out
[11:09] so last thing we have is the FEA Grant
[11:15] process the application has been submitted to Teemo it is in the review
[11:22] process they had a couple comments we've addressed those comments and now we are
[11:27] just waiting for them to to to re-engage it if those comments are are
[11:33] sufficient for the continuation of this of this
[11:42] project yeah so in this in this particular case not to interrupt but
[11:47] just to because I've been contacting them quite frequently about this I and
[11:51] I'm going to just uh interject here uh they asked for I think I've let you know
[11:57] this Jer they've asked for phase two project request for this uh because FEMA
[12:04] will not approve or fund just uh an overall study of the city of white house
[12:10] so they actually want to have an identified project uh that can be
[12:14] completed um something that we would move towards um on the on the back end
[12:19] of the study uh so we still are in communication with
[12:24] teema um I haven't been able to get a hold of
[12:28] him today he did reach out to me Friday uh haven't been able to get a hold of
[12:32] him today but uh that's the project because we had
[12:36] the most uh concrete numbers if you will uh the most solidified numbers for that
[12:43] particular project is the reasoning behind why we inserted that project as
[12:47] our phase two project but they did say that we do have the ability and the
[12:52] flexibility to be able to adjust that and input another project in its place
[12:57] if we so choose
[13:03] that's all I that's all we have
[13:11] for okay um other business we have
[13:19] none and we are
[13:25] J for the old days right
[13:34] straighten
[13:38] [Music]
[13:58] up e
